More a mini LHD (low head skid steer) - , does it have easy release of the bucket to allow fork attachment - (or other) - lol, cleaning under a conveyor - doing this manually is extremely dangerous - or necessitating a plant shutdown - keeping an operator on the loop still increases productivity hugely. Now what are the running cost of this electric tool offgrid - using diesel generation to power and / or charge the battery? (I have a friend in Western Australia who assisted the development of a 'toy tractor" just like this back in the early 2000s - for exactly the same reasons, primary reason, cleaning under coal and iron ore conveyors while operating. my use case would be excavating new footings under existing structure - or at least trenching to level - to allow 400-600mm footings to be dug - needs a hoe attachment.)

Electric machines can be used in more places and in more time slots. If you wanna keep choking on fumes, go right ahead.

@@WowCreativeUsername - This is true, there are economical benefits greater than the gross environmental interests. Even if diesel still needs to be burnt - it can be done off site in less controlled areas - so there may be no significant fuel cost saving, but increased revenue due to opportunity.. (Idle time in an electric device is an energy saving - not all machines on the site are actively utilised all the time they are running.)
