We HOPE JJ performs as well as Darnold has. The money would be the only reason the Vikings wouldn't want him back.......but after seeing Darnold wisely make sacrifices (going to 49ers) and now being wise enough to sign with a good team/good coach..........and keeping in mind that he's already made a lot of money playing for trash teams........I'm guessing he'd be willing to take an under market deal to stay with the Vikings (if the Vikings want him).

The old fellow says some strange things. Baker Mayfield is a better athlete than Darnold? Darnold was MVP of the entire region in BASKETBALL Also played baseball. He could have played college basketball. He was a running QB that played WR and linebacker. At USC they actually wanted him to play linebacker. Went on to set the freshman record for TD's at USC, and was drafted #3 at 19 years old.
