This is amazing. It would be interesting to know what sort of harp Mr Thomas himself played.

+Dmitry Sofronov I believe that John Thomas would have played Erard Gothics and Grecians predominantly during his working life. Though initially he learnt to play the triple harp before moving onto the pedal harp when he went to London to study. Hence why I thought it was appropriate to transfer the piece back onto the triple harp.

+Robin Ward I believed as much. I thought he could have played the triple harp, at least initially. This soft sound suits the piece very well. The pedal harp is more straightforward.

@@dmitrysofronov8624All I can find is the photograph of Thomas in Rosser. He's posing with a pedal instrument. But that's all I can dig up on his instruments.
