in my country they were known as shoe shine, it was quite a job and they could clean and polish bags and belts. As good quality shoes ceased to be common this trade disappeared. they were young boys and shoemakers' helpers. They made the equivalent of an average salary a week. They were very popular.

I think it is the shine that turns blue, not the actual color of the shoe.

Обычно я помещаю продукты в описании видео. После чистки (с мылом или без мыла) кожу обуви пропитывают кремами на основе пчелиного воска (не химического).
