Every Thrash Metal band owes something to this album.

@ApathyDERP I am a grade 7 teacher. I asked the same thing (Favourite Song) of one of my new students wearing a Misfits shirt. He had no answer....I then said the word of the day today is "Poseur" also known as "Poser" (then wrote the words on the board and defined it) After that embarassment...he basically knew the whole catalogue after term 1. Teaching at its finest!

This is The Misfits' thrash album....But i wouldn't go as far as classifying it as "metal". It's still punk, just gnarly, aggressive punk! The kind i love most!

Doyle had some of the sickest feedback ever heard on this album.
@michaelmaclane88772 жыл бұрын
Lol. So it sounds as though we've pinned down what Doyle's legacy will be where his instrument is concerned. That motherfucker knew how to throw up a WALL of noise. He almost has a recognizable, almost signature feedback sound. In truth though, I think Spot was FAR MORE responsible for this than Doyle was. Which is why Doyle only has it on this particular album, and Greg Ginn has a slightly watered down version of it on Damaged (Black Flag"s undisputed masterpiece).

@onab15 жыл бұрын
that particular term wasnt really solidified till later solidified term till later . punkers back then used thrash loosly when it came to hardcore . thrash was a term to desribe specifically fast hardcore - it was first applied to bands like the Bad Brains and Dead Kenedys , their hard core was faster than bands like black flag and hardcore got even faster as time went on bands like dri then siege show that progression.
