My fave punk stuff (some might say its Hardcore Punk) is the bands G.B.H. and The Exploited. I dig "Danzig" era Misfits myself too, I respect and like a little of the other era too. Black Flag is a must too with some Henry Rollins. I became a die hard crossover (Punk/Thrash) head when DRI and Suicidal Tendencies came out and I lost the straight up punk vibe. But now Im older hearing this again, its like reliving the good ole days. Thanks y'all, 1,000,000 likes

I love me some Misfits. Along with Ramones one of my favourite bands of all times. When I was young and sang in a punk rock band, Halloween and Dig up her Graves were two of the four Misfits covers we did through out the years, the third and fourth being Scream and Die my Darling. Man, this band is great at all eras. Love your reactions guys, really do. Thanks for sharing. Can't wait for you to get to punk journey. Also, when you get to beginnings of metal please, and I mean PLEASE play Rainbow's Stargazer. I think I listen to that song at least once nearly everyday, xDDD.

Seen Danzig many many times first time for his solo tour was in 88 it kicked ass he played tons of Samhain and Misfits tracks. Wendy O. Williams - It's My Life Wendy was a huge influence on many female lead singers particularly Butcher Babies who named their band after her song Butcher Baby. Wendy died of a drug overdose in the early 1990s RIP.

Misfits are the sh*t. Got all the albums including Project 1950. Skulls is one of my faves along with Hybrid Moments and Angelfuck, but there are so many killer tunes by these guys. Samhain and Danzig are right up there, but the youth and energy of the original Misfits is the apex for me. And Graves at 19-20 is a Bad MoFo. You guys KILL! Peace!

After Danzig left the Misfits, Jerry Only and Doyle put up a band called Kryst The Conqueror 1987-1995. Not much of success i assume so 1995 they went to court and i think rest is history. What comes the band name The Misfits, i believe Danzig said, that they can use the Misfits name, but they had to say who were on the band, i guess that means posters and promotion etc.

Honestly I love both eras (23 now) but I grew up with both. It'd be awesome if you did more reacts to The Misfits. Like Saturday Night, Helena, Bruiser, Pumpkin Head and so on 😊. Also side note, a lot of their songs are based on movies or quotes from movies 😊

You should definitely introduce her to the Ramones. I'm sure you will like them. They have so many great songs it's hard to recommend just one. A few I would recommend are Blitzkrieg Bop, 53rd & 3rd, I Wanna Be Sedated, I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend, What's Your Game, California Sun, Do You Remember Rock N' Roll Radio, Little Bit O' Soul, Poison Heart, Questioningly just to name a few. Sorry to list so many but as I said before it is hard to pick just one song to suggest to introduce someone to the Ramones. I'm sure once you start listening to the Ramones you'll understand what I'm getting at regarding the difficulty of recommending only one Ramones song.

I loved the Misfits with both Glen Danzig and Micheal Graves. Honestly Graves brought a different sound and love for the music. If you can't see the beauty in what Graves did in his time with the band. Then you probably don't see and appreciate the music for what it is. Just my opinion not trying to start fights. There is also the gap between The Misfits and Danzig you can dive into. Samhain was where Glenn left off after Misfits and what would become Danzig. It's a BEAST of its own. Great songs from them like All Murder All Guts All Fun, Archangel, the remake of Horror Biz, All Hell, and the early version of Twist of Cain. Glenn showed up to the Misfits Halloween show which turn out to be the last gig. He told the band it was the last show ever, on stage 13 songs into the set. He was moving on to start his own thing. His own thing turned out to be Samhain.

Sounds like the cop was friends with the owner. I have had this same thing happen with one of my guitars (stolen, and sold to a pawn shop). I got it back for without payment much to the dismay of the owner. In my case the officer told him if he wanted payment from me for it, he would basically be charged with trafficking stolen goods.

Sounds like the cop, the thief, and the pawn shop owner might have some racket going on. The officer's superiors might have found that false claim about the pawn shop being able to charge for stolen goods quite interesting. It amounts to fencing from a store rather than an alleyway and is no less illegal.

You should check out Bad Religion since you liked punk, I'm partial to the No Control album. It's kind of "intelligent punk" in the same way that A Tribe Called Quest is "intelligent hip hop". They do a good amount of vocal harmonies as well. The songs No Control, I Want To Conquer the World, and Progress would be a good summation of the album, I think. It's just good fucking music. Very political lyrics and the singer actually has a Ph.D in History of Science

The misfits are legendary and formed in the late 70's early 80's. They had a resurrection recently in the late 90's with a different singer. And just had a reunion with their origional singer in the 2020's. They influenced bands like metallica and where influenced by the Ramones. Play the song.

It's funny how you were talking about your bass being stolen and having to buy it back. About 18/19 years ago I had a bunch of cd's stolen, among them was my Misfits box set. All Danzig era, it was a coffin box that came with a fiend club pin and the cds were dark red almost black. I found it in a record store that bought it and had to buy it back. I was able to id it by some markings I had on it, never was unpackaged. I just thought it was funny that you chose a Misfits reaction video to tell about your stolen bass and having to buy it back and that I had my Misfits box set done the same way. Oh and another thing, I also use to play bass but haven't for around 20 years!!!
