The MISSING Super Smash Bros. Fighter

The concept behind the fighter is super creative! A character that is basically a hodge-pogde of three different character types is rad as heck! Although I do feel like it looses out on the magic of it being Skullkid. When I think of wanting to play as Skullkid I think of being a fast lightweight magic user with plenty of illusions and tricks and spooky powers! And while this does represent him in some way, i'd rather play as Skullkid with Majora's Mask as opposed to this concept. I will say that the concept is inspired though and I would love to see more content like this in the future!

I hear you but Skull Kid's magic comes from the Mask. I wanted Skull Kid to represent the entire GAME of Majora's Mask rather than him being the villain. (which deep down, Skull Kid doesn't WANT to be evil, he'd got abandonment issues) Of course if Masked LINK were to appear, then villain Majora's Mask wearing Skull Kid would be perfect.

Not a big fan of the idea of Goron's Skull kid as his "neutral form", that being said, pretty good concept for Skull Kid! having him changing from a lightweight to a heavy with his different moves and so on, and it's a really cool and creative way to represent Majora's as a whole in Smash.

i think the standard form should be skully himself, while the other forms remain active only for their respective actions. So if you want big boi's half damage when crouched, you would be forced to not only immobilize yourself, but also increase your hitbox size. while standard skully is a fast light weight in nature, being speedy on ground, and pretty great airspeed, while going into a double jump, up special, or aerial leaves him as the floaty shrub with only okay air speed and slow fall. Lastly, his smash attacks in zora form have better weight and defense than skully form, but definitely not as good as goron, letting his smash attacks be less vulnerable. this would make beak boy all about commitment, making you have to think about every as action you take, such as if you are far off stage, going into shrubby ensures youll make it back up to stage, but if youre at a high percent, using gorons roll would make it tricky and predictable, but give you the defense needed to survive a blast that would ko you otherwise. - Also hEy your content is honestly top tier, lad, and sorry i wrote an entire book on this, i wasnt keeping track of my ideas too well hehe.

So Skull Kid as Default Zora for Tilts Goron for Smashes and Deku for airs Not bad at all. Although it would be a whole 4th character to animate, and Personally I really like the idea of a base heavy going light rather than a light going heavy. Keep it up.

This is an incredibly clever take on a Skull Kid moveset, my only problem is that it doesn't really represent Skull Kid at all. I feel like this would work better as a redone Young Link. Still a really great video, and I'd love to see more like this.

Just from your description of the Goron form, I think you'd really like how Kragg from Rivals of Aether plays. In fact, with the steam workshop capability in that game, I'm sure you could fully realize Skull Kid in Rivals.

This is definitely a take I haven't seen on Skull Kid before! Swapping models for different moves might be an issue (technically speaking), but as a concept at least it's interesting. The animation is a very nice addition too and helps sell the character better, especially when it's atypical to the rest of the roster. It's also just nicer to watch and I appreciate when people put a lot of effort into their videos.

I like the idea, but the only issue if real is the modeling aspect. Although similar to Pkmn Trainer, you have a designated move to switch models around so the game and cull them in and out. Here though, the models have to always be in and switch in and out in a frame while the dust cloud appears

I'd say they can do it like Kirby's inhale: where they shrink/grow in a frame. If the Switch can handle stage morph, it should handle transforming fine.

This is a really cool idea and I think I would really enjoy playing this character. That being said, it sorta feels more like a transforming Goron than it does Skull kid. If it were going to be this exact move set I might make the character be the happy mask salesman. To tweak it, maybe have them linger in each form more as compared to always reverting to Goron? It would be a lot more animation, but it would avoid the feel that this is just a Goron turning into other things.

If you don’t mind me asking, may I suggest a retro character? We haven’t gotten a new one in Ultimate (Duck Hunt in Smash 4) like Excite biker, Bubbles, or Tamagon

Super cool! I would rather his taunts be just the Skull Kid (cuz he's mischevious and all) for one, he could play his flute, for another he holds up a mask like in the opening cutscene, and for another, he floats and giggles. For a final smash, he puts on Majora's Mask and opens a black hole, where fighters sucked in go to the moon, where Majora's Incarnation runs into them while doing dances and then Majora's Wrath grabs them with whips, slamming and launching them.
