I had the fortune of visiting Kashi thrice but never knew all that you mentioned now,maybe my time was not opportune and had to expend my karma's I guess. But,I did have the great lords grace to touch and perform ablutions to the holiest Lord Vishwanth Jyotir linga early in the morning in my 3rd visit,can never forget the feeling I had when I closed my eyes touching it till I am alive,your words on its importance just reinforced that grace I had and that it will bless my generations to come.
