MY God how far we have fallen....my God My God.. nowadays, gospel music is just club music..my word, God forgive me of every sin and short coming that is so easily to beset me...Where did this annointing go?? Where?? I know it's not in the dress code but sometimes your words, action and music has to match you conviction and these younger gospel singers look like they came straight from a club and now singing gospel music. I look at legends like Tramaine Hawkins, Shirley Ceasar, Beverly Crawford, Cece Winans, these young ladies never had to show there bossoms and thighs to get the gospel across. They sang and still is singing under the pure annointing of the holyghost. Some of what we have today is nothing but commercial junk! give me the old songs anytime, anyplace.

This song always put me nearer and very much closer to the cross. It makes me feel like if GOD came for me today, I’m ready to go. He is singing as though he was ready whenever JESUS came. I believe he also found peace and wonderful rest. I’m praying that I’m nearer to the cross and not getting further from it. When GOD comes all of our worries will be over.
