Yes, please do videos on houses outside the US. From all that I've read about Madame de Pompadour, I suspect that had she lived in the later 20th century she would have been either a renowned decorator or the head of a luxury goods conglomerate. Excellent video

Such breathtaking beautiful elegance!! From the chandeliers and stenciled ceilings to the beautiful marble & parquet floors. The well appointed furnishings and lovely sweeping staircases . Such beauty that I have dreamed of and adored in photographic books at the public library when I was as young and dreamed about what it would be like to be amongst such elegance and splendour. But of cours I am well into middle age years today and have a very minimalistic middle class plain apartment and modest furnishings. But a lady can dream ⭐️💯😊🌺🇨🇦🇨🇦🌸☀️

You did a great job as always. I know it is nothing you did but I found the costumes on mannequin’s distracting from the rooms instead of enhancing them. Your videos are always top notch and just enough information without to much to make it boring I would love to see more on important houses of the world, maybe focusing on the ones that get overlooked

Love this video it's really well done thank you. Having been to hundreds of chateaus in France I can honestly say this is probably one of the most beautiful ones ever. It's one of those rare chateaus that you could actually live in it's not so big and it's not so small. Another spectacular chateau which you could actually live in is chateau Chenoncaux in the lower valley. And it's also known as The chateau of the Dames because it's owners were mostly women and mistresses of the king

French 💯 ! English Victorian "15" The French nail Chateaus, Goose Patte', Veal, Oysters Bienville, and Pastries. They had/have Class when it comes to their Style, interior and exterior, most appealing smooth walls painted in Cream, Soft Pinks, Yellows, Louie Blue, even their French Country Style is far more desirable over Victorian. This is a Beautiful Chateau. It just asks to be gazed upon and enjoyed.

I 💕 love this home! How do I know? It’s the first time I’ve called it “this home” instead of this house! As probably only Ken would know it’s only missing an offset turret topped with a cone. Damn the French for their style and grace, as to make me grovel for a blueprint! 🥰😚

I always wonder where these souls live today. For all eternity their lavish life styles concluded in the earthly realm..........but where are they now? Are their eternal accommodations as lavish as they were in the earthly realm? My thought is they never concerned themselves w/ the afterlife......something to think about.

It's a beautiful house and history, but I'd stick to American (and rarely Canadian) houses. Two things that grow the THIS HOUSE trusted brand are 1.) "you"ness expertise including story and editing choices; and 2.) subjects themselves - reliably Americana. You dilute the specialness of your niche if you start touring houses abroad. Of course your job becomes more exciting if it takes you around the world, but the job you do here is done better than anyone else as far as I can see.
