One interesting thing I did with minor illusion was create a sound counter to the sound I was making to have them cancel each other out. This allowed me to effectively move in complete silence, and because my DM at the time was cool he let me make a check to do so.

I had a similar type of character - Shadar Kai Swarm Keeper Ranger and Underdark Druid, as a Bounty Hunter for the Raven Queen..Focused on mobility and pick up the piercer feat. I'm still fleshing it out in my head

Shadar-Kai - Blessing of the Raven Queen (Misty Step (without damage after 3rd))usable Proficiency Bonus times per day (2-6), Spell Spider Climb, Great Old One for Awakened Mind (Telepathy) vs. Message. Also nice spells for your creepy character.

Yeah I know it's 7 months later, but with my DM we changed Fey Presence to a bonus action affecting chosen creatures within 10ft. of you (instead of a cube). It is a minor change but it does the trick, it allows for a bit of control to whomever gets too close, or to escape etc. We made it PB time per day too, which we did for Misty Escape too.

Suuuuper reasonable changes.

I like this character a lot it reminds me of Mystigon from the Fairy tail anime, the first lvl feature is good if you get surrounded or flanked during combat causing everyone fear and to run away is excellent to keep you from dying in melee

Using the raven moteefe. There are such things as white ravens. My gears are turning slow today.

First, I like the build and concept. Archfey warlocks specializing in divinations, charms, illusions, enchantments, and hexes (debuffs) are my right up my alley. Second, I agree that the Fey Presence feature is criminally underpowered. Other subclasses have similar abilities, but they do it better (Undead Warlock, Fey Wanderer Ranger, Glamour Bard). WOTC missed a real opportunity to correct this oversight with the release of the Explorer's Guide to Wildemount.

Fey Presence (the 1st-level feature) seems like a decent out-of-combat feature for social interactions to me.

You can use it only once and it only lasts 6 seconds so using it in conversation is tricky. If I’m DMing though I would allow it to give you advantage on one charisma check for sure.

I feel like Genie Patron would potentially be better than Fey? Maybe be an agent for a Marid or Djinni in exchange for getting back your ability to speak one day (once you can cast limited wish)

You’re definitely right! Genie is almost always going to outshine a subclass like fey. That said, I often like to use the underused subclasses in my builds. It’s fun for me to explore the less used mechanics. The 6th level feature was especially exciting to me because it was the exact flavor I was looking for. Too bad we can’t use it more times per day!

Super late! Fey presence use idea! Be stealthed, stalk your targets, cause fear while being unseen. Emerge from shadows and attempt intimidation. Magical fear would be gone, but its echoes could still be used. I think it needs to be a bonus action for being useful for combat, but for roleplay and certain social situations, the action limitation isn't bad

There is actuall a warlock class called the raven that does this you should look it up

Interesting concept🤔

OMG I LOVE THIS 😍❤ I believe we can do so much with this character. The deal this person/character made with the faye was to have immortality. Sadly this person/character made the wrong deal with the wrong faye. Blessed with immortality as their body slowly decays over the long extended years. In an effort to save themselves from this horro, they tried to made a deal with the demon and cut out their tongue but the spelled backfire due to the faye powerful magic. I know it may seem random and it probably doesn't fit D&D perfectly but I think that would be something fun to come up with for backstory.

I like a lot of your build, but for this one, how is the character supposed to cast any of the spells with vocal components? How does this interact with silence?
