This movie is so amazing. The animation and visual style are top notch, the struggle to connect and tension between Katie and Rick feels so real, it has a great message about family and understanding, and Monchi is absolutely hilarious. It deserves so much more praise than it's already gotten.

I *love* this movie. I honestly think it should've won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature instead of _Encanto._ My mom (who hasn't seen _Encanto)_ thinks that the only reason _Encanto_ won is because the Mitchells are white. 😅
