It’s the fact that mlp G4(excluding equestria girls because the movies, series, and shorts were clearly a cash grab and just to expand the equestria girls universe for no reason) felt like hasbro’s passion project. Sure it had its downs(season 8…) but it mostly had its ups(season 9 and 7 were peak MLP FIM). Now G5 just feels like it’s here to be just… a generation of the mlp franchise and then we move on to G6 and then it’s surprisingly better but then that would be hard to believe looking at G5. Like what happened Hasbro cause I remember when all the generations were different and had different stories, but now with G5 it’s like some failed continuation from G4 and it shouldn’t be. It should be a good series with a better story, shouldn’t have any connections to mlp G4(they can honestly still have connections they just need to execute the story better), and honestly 2D animation cause the 3D animation, while it doesn’t suck I just feel like 2D would’ve been better. It’s sad to see how much Hasbro had fell off. It’s very clear they miss working on G4 and is ready to end G5.
