He beat the champions of his time and would fight people much bigger than himself, and had two titles, in two different divisions, and actually defended his belt.

No offense but Woodley had to show up to the scales in order to get paid, that is the rule if someone gets dumped because of missing weight or a late cancelled fight. I was pretty indifferent to Woodley until he knocked out one of my favorite fighters ever (Robbie Lawler), also robbing me of a matchup I had been anticipating for awhile (Robbie vs Wonderboy). I'll admit I had some minor resentment towards him for that(relatively speaking, obviously), and him appearing to attempt to duck Wonderboy after the Lawler fight didn't help anything. I hear what he's saying now, though. He's obviously way better than I originally thought. I'm still rooting for Wonderboy, but if Woodley wins I won't be too upset.

I think lawler vs wonderboy would be a worse match up than woodley vs wonderboy. I don't think Lawler has very good take downs and wrestling experience to threaten Thompson with. It would end up being a striking contest with Lawlers fists vs Thompsons kicks and fists.

If Kahbib wins, then the Mayweather fight will be closer to happening. Khabib is talking about taking Ramadan off. I don't think Conor (who is already annoyed with Floyd calling him Dana's employee) will wait for Khabib. Race or not, I generally don't like Woodley because his voice doesn't match his body type. Every time I see him in a suit it's like they tried to squeeze a munchkin from the wizard of oz into a hulk body, and I think it plays into his whiny persona. Is Floyd REALLY the a-side though in 2017? - How many boxers does Floyd do over 1million buys with outside of Pacman? Conor has been doing over 1million buys since UFC189 now (I think that was over 1mil) Iam not sure but UFC PPV's only average around 250-300k PPV buys. So with some of the fights doing 1.5mil and Nate has never been a draw despite having a strong hardcore following, its shows Conor is AROUND a sure 1 million PPV buys now for his fights and will be for a good while to come.
