My stomach still turns every time i hear Charles-Chandler is a #1 contender fight. Chandler is 1-3 in his last 4. His 1 win was against Tony Furgeson who i think is on the longest losing streak in UFC history (don't hold me to that). He hasnt fought in 2 years. If the MMA gods are real then Charles will finish him within 3 rounds

Facts: Aspinall wasn't the interim champion when the Jones/Stipe fight was initially booked and so I'm tired of people whining about why Aspinall isn't fighting this weekend as if we need to just tell Stipe to stay home and not get a huge paycheck against Jones win/lose/draw. This fight still needed to happen. Sure, I don't like the idea of Jones pre-emptively discounting or avoiding Aspinall IF he wins this fight on Saturday but let's calm this negative uproar about this upcoming fight as if we still don't deserve to see it. Maybe I'm also saying this because I think Stipe is being severely overlooked here and I expect him to last much longer than Gane did.

Exactly. They only put interim tag on Tom vs pavlovich to sell the card after Jon’s injury. Nobody was saying Tom deserved a title fight coming off injury and beating tybura. Wins vs tybura/pavlovich/blaydes have convinced all these clowns that Jon needs tom for his legacy. It’s really laughable.
