The 4 Basics corner stones of a MMA training criteria is Muay Thai , Boxing , wrestling and BJJ . Every MMA gym has a boxing coach . We all train boxing , even the locals .

Here's a few weird ideas: 1) Adjust your feet into a bladed stance, 2) Throw punches like a spring(not lunging forward) after setting your feet, 3) Keep your hands up and throw punches properly so your chin is covered by your shoulder when punching......until MMA fighters abide by these simple principles, they will be caught flush by a bum who is throwing head-down/eyes-closed overhand shots. Jake throws poor snapping jabs that can be easily countered if an opponent keeps his hands up, walks forward, and catches then shoots over the top of them.......and then, get this, punches when Jake Paul isn't set(which he takes forever doing).

As a guy whos done strictly boxing and trained boxers for 2 decades the MMA guys usually don't have one of the most important layers of defense, which is blocking with the gloves. If you can close the distance with them and box up close they can't really find a response. They cant grab and hit. They can't clinch and work kness. They can't shoot a takedown. So they usually just stand there and absorb punches.

They’re usually those who fell short in another discipline or were successful in one but aren’t good in any other. The new generation of ufc fighters actually trained to go into MMA and some are good all-round, but very few are boxing at a high level

JP is not a dumb guy these rigged fights are all created intricately in executive rooms to make em look as real as possible. You can literally see Mike let himself get hit by big shots against jake, go watch the fight again you don’t even have to look closely to see that Mike was letting him get alot of shots. 6.Mike looked “lost” because it was prob the first rigged fight he’s ever been apart of. The reason he looked lost is because he literally wasent fighting for real. 7. Throwing “heavy shots” does not mean the fight isn’t rigged, they have been rigging fights for years and years(and all major sports) they know what they need to do and how to get away with rigging fights. Rigged fights have both guys throwing hard and heavy shots, the one that is taking the dive needs to throw less on them, people can take shots, espically if they know what’s coming, heavy shots that look like they can knock you out will happen. Also if they do end up messing up it’s not the end of the world, I’m sure there are fights that were supposed to be rigged for one fighter and the other guy accidentally messed up and hit the guy to hard stopping the fight, mistakes are aloud to happen, as long as the people rigging the fights have it there way more than 50% of the time they are making profit on people who are gambling, watching, etc. Go watch Mike perry fight for real in the UFC and in bare knuckle boxing, it’s night and day when you watch his attitude fight style and a million other subtle things. It goes deeper than people think and the list goes on, on why and how this was rigged, the people who rig fights are smart, they know how to throw in seeds of doubt so that you will see something and go “oh see there’s no way it’s rigged because “this” happened or because “that” happened. Do you really think Vegas/sports betting would exist if it was in the favor of the average man. A fixed fight doesn’t even need to work out in there favor, they just need over 50% of the fights/events to work out in there favor and they profit. There is not one specific formula to rigging events, there are multiple different ways to do it, and multiple different combinations you can use to rig the events. Again just because an event is rigged doesn’t even mean that the other team/person will win 100% of the time, as long as they are influencing in there favor and getting the desired outcome over 50% of the time, they are making money. Have you never watched a football game and heard someone complaining about the refs decision? Have you ever watched a fight and ever thought “How in the world did they come up with that score card” These are two minor ways they influence the decision in events that the common man see’s happen and calls it out and then seems to forget about it the next day and becomes surprised the next day when it happens again. I am not “salt” because Mike perry lost, I knew the fight was going to be rigged going into the fight, nothing that happened surprised me because I’ve saw the pattern happen over and over again. The only thing that I’m upset about is how no one pays enough attention to it, and they choose to ignore it, the reason it keeps happening over and over is because people like you who choose to let it happen, and are fooled over something that’s so obvious to see if you take the time to look, listen, and learn. Put yourself in the position of someone who’s job it is to rig events, take a few hours to elaborately plan out how to fool the average viewer and even the more experienced viewers, make a list of things you would do to fool someone who watches closely. Whatever is on your list, know that the people who are rigging these events are 10x more experienced and smarter in there approach to accomplish these things, if you can come up with great ideas think of all the things they come up with, it’s literally there job, imagine instead of working 8 hours a day, you spent 8 hours a day around like minded people discussing what and how you are going to pull this off. I respect and i watch mr guru I’m not a hater but it’s just the way he talks about boxing is so wrong like saying they don’t punch they box no boxers punch properly and they’d punch him and most people up in the streets properly and break their jaws nose or knock them out .

Guru jake was atleast 240lbs after weigh ins. Has astleast 30-40 pounds on mike. You could see the weight in his punches when he would land. If you know weight cutting you know why people were saying jake looked huge compared to mikes 198 water loaded build
