Huge respect to Benson. It's funny how things work - when he was in his prime, I never rooted for the guy. There was always another fighter in that division I liked more (Cowboy, Frankie, Nate etc). Another big thing I think that helps is when the UFC cards are on earlier. When main cards don't start until 10PM EST, most people are falling asleep. The other big blow to UFC's promotion to the masses, is that everything is behind a paywall. Spike TV was the best thing UFC had going, and then that blew up. All fight nights should be free on ESPN.

Surprised Ariel is so hyped for Usman/Leon 3 compared to the other big fights and names. Lets be real, the first one was so long ago it hardly counts, and in 2 Leon was getting his ass kicked the whole fight until landing a great kick. Don't get me wrong I'm looking forward to it, but with some of the big fights recently it feels more like a down PPV than the big one you can't miss.

@@pzath1979 I think it was just the altitude. Cardio is Usman’s thing and Edward’s was not ready for that elevation. Edward’s very clearly and cleanly won the first round taking no damage and out grappling Usman. He was just really tired after that first round just like a lot of the other fighters on that card.
