He did in fact win that fight, so I don’t understand why people would be angry with him being happy about defeating someone he’d been chasing for years, but I understand why people were upset in that moment- this particular case is about mentally unwell cheat getting more than the benefit of the doubt as opposed to the party who was wronged and did literally nothing wrong but say he was cheated. also, I don’t think someone converting is necessarily a persona, and I’m pretty positive it was prior to the Loma win. I would understand if you said that about Tank Davis however. I’ve always liked Devin as I enjoy a boxer style, and he has always and consistently called out the best. But even if I didn’t, it’s obvious to see he has been terribly wronged here, by the general online public as well.

true the press conferences are dull and have never changed, you have broadcaster, promoter, trainer fighter on each side repeating the same formulaic speech, we also have the fighters further down the card that can barely string a sentence together, they all say the same thing, thanking the promoter for the opportunity, or Eddie asks them a question and they are so nervous about being on stage they ignore the question and just repeat the little speech they already had rehearsed thanking everyone. they are meant to be the stars we are coming to see, they should be pushing the idea that we are lucky to be able to watch these killers and Eddie has them like little boys... massive opportunity yadda yadda, then it's can't wait to get in the ring etc , why don't they give the fighters some media training at least

But Strickland got ko’d by Poatan, Izzy ko’d poatan. Izzy also finished paulo costa, Sean got nothing done in those five rounds with costa. Izzy finished Whitaker, Sean hasn’t fought him. One must remember Sean got that title match because ddp pulled out, since then Sean still hasn’t done anything to make his case for another title shot. He needs to start finishing people like He does in his sparring. Sean should be thankful he’s even ranked as high as he is.
