The Moab Dom Got HOW MUCH Extra Pierce?? (Bloons TD 6)

The Moab Domination Tier 5 Boomerang Monkey in BTD6 is one of the best ways to deal with Moab class bloons, but an aspect in which it has always lacked is pierce and dealing with small ones. That's why Ninja Kiwi decided to give it literally 3 times more pierce, so let's see how good it is now in Bloons TD 6!

I used it a lot on chimps on advanced / intermediate maps before the update and the lacking pierce kinda showed on round like 98 96 just overall really dense rounds so this buff makes it a much better option for chimps even though it already was a good one

This change still doesn't fix the problem of glaives' pierce increase providing less of a power boost than the increase in attack speed (+50% from glaives (if all pierce is used) & +77.778% for faster rangs). If anything, this change just exacerbates the problem since you're even less likely to use all the pierce.

Generally, you wouldn't buy glaive if you intended to get the 5th tier. iirc the glaive give extra pushback on 4th tier, so it isn't the pierce people buy it for

I think this change is designed to use with the MK that rethrow boomerang when it returned. Since it's less likely that you will use up all your pieces, you basically get 2x attack speed.

I think the main problem with your mid game was that you were relying on your 2-0-4 as your main damage dealer when it’s never served that purpose. I think any dps option under 10k with decent all around damage would have made this challenge exceptionally easy

problem with moab dom is that its not really usable on more difficult maps since its cost is difficult to save money for in the middle of the game. this tower also sucks against super cerams, but if you have sufficient defense to deal with them, then its basically cheating on r91-99. however you also need to deal with BAD with which this tower doesnt do well. there are better tower for similar cost than this one (aow, a bit more expensive mad or superstorm). worth considering this tower is mainly for challenges with increased moab hp or double hp moabs, where stalling is mvp. the pierce change is nice and all, but 50-100% change would be sufficient enough to see pretty much same result as it is on this video. there should be a change with the damage to super ceramics for this tower. its shocking for me that a $60k tower cannot deal with them even with buffs like overclock and 4xx alch or glue alone.
