"Ten minutes into the future, in an annihilated universe" that sounds like an epic tagline for an story

These right here are the series that brought me back to reading MARVEL Comics. Good job summerizing a rather dense story.

Dan abbnett and Andy Lanning in my opinion did a great job modernizing and recreating the Marvel Cosmic landscape, id wish they come back tbh.

Yeah, when they were done no one else seemed capable of showing a compelling universe with cosmic level stories. just my humble opinon.

War of Kings was crazy. I enjoyed that. I'm a fan of the Inhumans, though...just not what Marvel did to them from 2014 to current day. I will say the Black Bolt and Karnak miniseries were both great. The Ultimates series are pretty gopd, too. Highly enjoyable stuff.

I remember my teacher telling me that Marvel had this WHOLE ASS universe beyond the typical Marvel stuff. It’s so fucking rad.

I read this as it was coming out and there was nothing like it. Fantastic stuff. Minor correction though: The Kree made their deal to upgrade their security with the Spaceknights, who, unbeknownst to anyone, had been infected with the Phalanx. No one would willingly invite the Phalanx in.

For me cosmic marvel is all over the place. I guess it's more of the cosmology itself not being fleshed out until recently. It just seemed to have a bunch of random free agents.

I always hated how the killed quasar in the first event. he was one of my favorites, and how he was taken out showed a deep misunderstanding of quasar"s powers. As well as his successor's adventure where she "gets cut off" from the power. but for most he is a C rate or D rate character so I am probably the only one who really cared.

I have had that happen where characters I grow to like are killed off or forgotten. Being a Doom Patrol fan, unless you're the popular ones (Robot Man, Negative Man, Elasti-Girl, Chief, Crazy Jane) you are either going to be forgotten or killed off. I kinda liked the team before Grant Morrison took over but apparently he didn't want most of the characters so they were killed off in Invasion. Celsius had some potential for character growth but that is ignored and she kills herself trying to stop the Dominators in Invasion and this is mostly due to her really having nothing left to live for. What made that infuriating is everyone thinking she was a fraud who lied about being The Chief's wife when they already learned that she was because they literally saw her memories of meeting and marrying him but everyone constantly distrusts her and when Chief comes back they pretty much ignore her. Really stupid honestly and I am happy DC Rebirth brought her back and she seems to lead her own team now.

This event happened during civil war,so they couldn't get any help from the Avengers,FF4 or Xmen, they're kinda of isolated......what kinda made the event more tense, since they had to face the threat without the big guns

These were mostly well thought out and told. But mostly I agree. every 6 issues another event was happening that would change marvel FOREVER!!! ugh. I don't think they or DC ever really stopped. It's why i don't read either very often. Constant universe shakeups may temporarily improve sales, but in the long run it shakes off all your loyal readers.
