Wow this video is incredible. After reading Edwidge Danticat’s ‘Krik? Krak!’ I immediately dove in to learning more about Mach- who I had listened to before with the perspective of a life-long hip hop fan and admirer of other overtly personal/political rap like the work of Yasiin Bey. But after watching hours of interviews and intense listening on his Spotify catalog, it is unbearably evident that there needs to be more dialogue around Mach’s art and business model. This video is a great contribution to our current understanding of rap and hip hop as they live on. I can appreciate the intensity and passion of the script here too. Thank you for the great watch. Great video man. Normally I'd say you were stretching it by doing a comparison like this, but Mach is one of those few modern artists who actually deserves it. I think we are likely to look back on his 2016-2021 run as some if the most forward looking rap of our time.

Mach Hommy is very unique but he’s in his spiritual bag , that might not make sense to most but it’s okay. He’s in tune to the point where, someone couldn’t emulate his style if they passed away and came back one hundred times. To me .. this is a great time for hip hop because he’s really one of the artist that shows it’s true growth. Sometimes the ears that listen are too immature and the brain can’t register fast enough but it’s alright.. we all can’t get it. Things that are done in popular society.. is never the hard route.. people typically follow because they are fearful of hard work. Respect to the true fearless trendsetters!
