I listened to "The movies that made me" podcast by Joe Dante episode of Bill Hader and it was amazing, it's like nearly 2hours long but they're so passionate that it feels like a 30min conversation. Would recommend it.

Oh man... there’s that early Richie look... But in all seriousness, I love Bill’s true passion for film. He always wanted to be a filmmaker, not so much an actor. Currently he’s won 2 Emmys for his own project and is working tirelessly on the third season. He deserves all of the praise he’s getting.

The part where he talks about seeing Enter the Void cracks me up. Especially love when he mentions texting Edgar Wright, "WHAT did you like about this movie?!?!"

at 6:09 what does he looking at like that?! I saw him doing that in another video too!
@weasley2o134 жыл бұрын
He has severe anxiety, and as someone who has that too I can tell you that when you're already stressed (and you can hear that in his laugh, it's not real it's a reflex) EVERYTHING freaks you out. Notice that he reacted to that woman falling or whatever it was instantly because you're hyper aware when you're anxious, as opposed to what it looks like from the outside. That's what makes it even harder to explain when people look at you strange when you're having a panic attack. So yeah he was probably alert and something jerked him at that moment.
@sanazj32324 жыл бұрын
@@weasley2o13yes I have anxiety too but mine is different,anyway did u mean his laugh is a reflex?
@annkatherine63273 жыл бұрын
@@sanazj3232 I also noticed that he sometimes laughs out of the blue, when nothing funny is said or happening. Just looks like a nervous reflex that comes through once in a while. I'm not sure if it's 100% true, but considering that he admitted to having anxiety, it's probable. Also, I'm guilty of such behavior myself, so it's easier to spot. For me, it's like when you get too nervous/anxious, your body is overloaded with stimuli and needs to relieve the tension somehow, and the laugh just comes out. And I totally agree with the previous statement of being hyper aware of everything when being anxious, so anything might've caught his attention at the timestamp you pointed out.
