Nice review, only one I've seen that did a little EQ and wow that really made a big difference. It already sounded solid without it but really sounded more "professional" with the EQ

Build quality on the previous generation of ModMics have been atrocious. Time will tell if they used the same manufacturing process in China and they break after 6 months usage from poor soldering.

I owned two of these in the past and they broke. Only bit of tech I own that has this poor of quality sadly. Worked well when it did though. Think I'll try a desk mic with my Sennheiser headphones but the Hyper X II's work so well.

We back our products with a 2 year warranty, but I am also sad you had issues! It's abnormal to see anyone with two broken units, but we took many steps to improve our durability in these new versions even further. Hope you'll come back to us someday!
