The thing that Bayern was missing is intensity. With the international break, cup, league, and CL... Most of these guys have played every 3 odd days for 3 weeks. They'll be back at full fitness soon. The difference in quality between these two sides is massive, and it showed. Not a single Barcelona player would break into that Bayern team. Maybe F.De Jong and Pedri in rotation with Kimmich and Goretzka but deffo not guaranteed starters by any stretch of the imagination.

Bayern didn’t perform too good in the beginning as Barca started off with 5 men Defence (which is incredible if you think of Barcelona under pep for example) then all Bayern did was the necessary stuff to win and spare their resources at the same time. Of course Bayern can win the CL, they have the IQ, the experience and the Special Players (lewy, Musiala, Sane, gnabry, …) to make the difference. Expensive young teams like city or psg do give themselves hard times as you can see with ManU against Bern… However this CL Season is gonna be different especially with the fans back in the stadium!

You could sense a dejection and realization at the stadium. I think not a lot of fans were surprised by the 3-0, a lot of us were expecting a worse scoreline. I think the only positive we can take out this season are the masia kids coming up and the return of Ansu fati which hopefully goes well but I doubt Koeman is the man to coach this team beyond the season, probably earlier if someone's ready to take over this sinking ship.
