Thank you so much for helping, I wanted that she walks slow because they made her have puppies, just wondering and you're showing that a pitbull doesn't always mean that it's cruel my nephew had a pitbull and he was a nice dog protected of the family but a nice dog and she lived to till elderly age And what you want to train her for that's beautiful and it just showed that not all pit bulls are out there, to harm you❤❤❤❤😘😘😘

Sweet, three years ago, I adopted an Amish breeder dog (brindle mastiff). She was severely abused, terrified of men and only now can start to feel relaxed when my sons are over. She's not a ball of fire but I guess that's the breed, she likes slow, short walks and is an absolute couch potato. And she needs to cuddle 24/7 if she could. She's definitely mama's girl. I had dog who was her companion that passed away in September 2023; he was her support dog and pretty much taught her how to be a dog again and how to play with toys. Last month, i adopted another companion for her; he's younger and a bit rambunctious but she puts him in his place if he gets too much. They cuddle on the couch.

@@scout3444 Thanks, Scout (and you too, Albino Hampster!) Her buddy had kidney disease which went undetected and when it was, he was taken from us fast. It was devastating. He was a husky shepherd who looked like a big black wolf. I had planned to get a dog more Sophie's (the mastiff) age but then a husky ended up at the local shelter who had apparently been abused as well, nothing but skin and bones and had been running loose for weeks, we took one look at each other and he had that look like I'm meant for you and he was. Plus being familiar with huskies and their crazy behavior and antics, we adopted him. PS, my previous dog that passed, his buddy before Sophie, his name was Scout❤

I'm a 60 yo 6'6" "tough guy" but these rescue videos literally make me cry. As a long time dog rescuer, I just can't understand why people abuse these amazing creatures that would give their lives for us. I had to put down my rescue Rottweiler "Sophie" a few years ago and I miss her very much. Unfortunately, the canid line of animals just don't live very long.

I foster failed a boxer that was in a similar situation. He had apparently been used for breeding and kept confined or on a chain his whole life and then abandoned when he developed some health problems. When I got him he had a few tumors, two were mast cell, and a number of broken teeth that the vet guesses were due to him chewing on a chain or crate door. I had him for 4 1/2 years and he passed away just before Christmas in 2023. Midge reminds me so much of Cuddles. He was named that after he snuggled up so tightly to me the first night that around 3am he pushed me off of the bed.

Isn't that something. I bought a house 7yrs ago. 2 deal breakers were being in a FEMA flood zone requiring insurance and breed specific dog bans. I also contacted the city council if i found a house and told them i wouldn't be moving into their community because of the ban.

The speed barrel rolls are hilarious, such a delightful expression of joy at running freely and the pleasure of feeling soft grass on her body.
