Agreed, I don’t think Gromit realized he was bad news yet. The scene when he’s having breakfast in town and notices the wanted poster is when he begins piecing together the puzzle 🧩 and becomes suspect of the penguin.

I once saw someone describe Wrong Trousers as a Hitchcock film in plasticine. The off-screen dialogue, the music, the unsettling stare that makes you question if it really happened or not? It really is. I hope they can maintain that same deeply ominous quality as they revisit Feathers.

Let's be fair. We all are. He is the best villain in the Wallace and Gromit films. Preston, Piella and whatever is name was from the feature film (Were Rabbit), whilst really good, didn't have that knack that Feathers had. Feathers had that creepiness to him that just made you uncomfortable. He was completely expressionless, and that's what made him terrifying. Preston is my second favourite villain, and whilst I enjoyed Piella, she was definitely my least favourite. She just got annoying after a while, as did the little stubby man from Were Rabbit. His dog was a much better character than him. But both were well written when it came to their intentions.
