Lebum has had a great deal of all-time talent around along with having freakish all time talent....but what he lacks is TRUE heart, grit, determination and a willingness to take courage in the face of pressure situations that would define you as The G.O.A.T....more often than not. This coupled with his statements after they lost this series to the Mavs after all that " Talents to South Beach" Tomfoolery, led me to kinda realize that he might not best human being either...I paraphrase but he basically said I'm rich and y'all are poor so it don't matter how many times I poop the bed and choke. @Alliedboy1176 ай бұрын
Just discovered ur channel and this type of reaction just brought up old feelings (just as it did your's), and i jus gotta say some things about this era of my fav team: - As you pointed out throughout the video, he was being outperformed by Jason Terry (a non-NBA All Time Top 75 player and EASILY not in the Top 100 All Time by most people, if not everyone) - Should the Heat have won that Finals, whether by Heat players carrying Lebron a bit harder or the Mavs not performing as good as they did, Wade would have been given the Finals MVP that series. Based on the stats, Wade avg'd 26pts, 5ast, 7reb, 1.5 blks, 1.5stls, 70 FT%, 55 FG% and 2.5 Turnovers per game. On the almost complete OPPOSITE side, LeBron avg'd 17pts, 7ast, 7reb, 0.5 BLOCKS, 1.7stls, 60 FT%, 47 FG% and an INSANELY AWFUL 4.0 Turnovers per game. Granted, Wade did have 5 turnovers in 1 of the games; BUT, LEBRON HAD 2 GAMES WHERE HE HAD 5 TURNOVERS IN ONE OF THEM AND 6 TURNOVERS IN THE OTHER GAME. Wade had less than 4 turnovers in 4 of the 6 games (2 games with 1 or 0 turnovers), while LeBron had only ONE game with less than 4 turnovers. - After this Finals, Wade's primary role on the team was no longer shared, but rather transferred (given?) to LeBron to allow Lebron to better fit into a better Heat system, resulting in Wade's full potential never being realized (DURING HIS PRIME YEARS MIND YOU). This overshadowing/snuffing out of potential of other superstar-caliber players is something that LeBron would continue to do, or try to do, on other teams that he would join (i.e. Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, Anthony Davis, etc.). - Nobody was expecting LeBron to get 8 championships with Miami (i know he said "not 5, not 6, not 7, not 8" and all that but i think we all know he would never), but holy fk dude; LeBron couldn't even be bothered to stay until 3 rings were secure? Didn't even have to be in a 3-peat fashion either, just 3 in total. The lack of loyalty is actually insane from this "top 2" player of all time; his loyalty is lower than Dirk's, Kobe's, Jordan's, and even Wade's cuz at least Wade came back to finish his career in Miami within a season and a half of leaving. When Jordan left, it was because upper management stupidly/unreasonably broke up the team to rebuild (despite Jordan winning the championship the season prior). When Wade left, it was because upper management wouldn't give him an all-star caliber salary in the contract (despite STILL playing like an all-star player during the playoffs the few months before the news of his Heat departure; that 2015-16 playoff run was so reminiscent of PRIME Wade, it was so dam good; Heat arguably would've gotten to conference Finals, if not the actual Finals, if Whiteside didn't get injured during the Toronto series and Bosh wasn't injured). Now, when LeBron leaves...it's because he wants a better (super) team. We saw it with the Heat, then the return to the Cavs w/ Kyrie and Love, and now with the Lakers. So yeah, as a Heat fan, i cant stand LeBron. Hell, even when he was on the team, i hated him. Not only because of the hate he brought with him from fans from everywhere (that i had to put up with as i was in high school during that time and friends and other classmates alike would despise me whenever the topic of the NBA was brought up), but also because he robbed us, not just heat fans but all fans, of seeing Wade's full potential. Admittedly, i do hav to say that i think it is partially Wade's fault for being too nice of a guy and a team player to allow his top spot be moved to LeBron; but if i let my top spot go to my friend, best believe i expect results; and in this case, Wade's top spot is worth at least 4 rings (double what LeBron "accomplished"). So no, given his time with the Heat, LeBron is definitely not the GOAT and will never be; there are obviously other instances on other teams, as well as other aspects to his game, that prove this but this is one part of his career that stands out most to me. In terms of an all-time list, he is barely top 5.
@TheRealMindCrime5 ай бұрын
Very well said. As far as the series goes I just feel as though if Wade was the clear leader of the team and Lebron wasn't there that they would've played better. And the reason i wanted to show this footage was because screw the stats. When the game was on the line you see who stepped up and who shrunk. Someone else at lebrons position would've benefitted Miami in my opinion. D Wade was a really good leader when the role is clear like it was with Shaq.

In MJ's entire career, you wouldn't find one play where he is standing around on defense when the opponent is driving past him. This was the Finals and LeBron gave up on the layup at 15:20

100% MJ would be swiping or leaping for the block like we see Wade doing here.

It's astonishing how even at a young age, in his athletic prime, he played no defense. This is a two-point game in the NBA Finals and still, he just mosies around in the corner and watches the ball, paying no attention to when he should close gaps for passes or potential drives to the hoop. He willingly lets his teammates do all the dirty work while he waits for a rebound and the outlet pass.

Great vid man. I live in Connecticut but my favorite player of all time is Charles Barkley and my first nba experience was Phoenix going to the finals against Chicago. I was a Jordan hater cuz he beat EVERYONE! Lebron should not be in the same conversation, not even same sentence as MJ. hope suns can someday finally get a chip bro. Can’t say I’m still a die hard suns fan cuz the league has changed so much but that 93 finals run will always etched in my heart despite the loss. Watching this finals you’re covering was the year my son was born and he’s actually not fooled by LeMedia. It’s all thanks to my teaching him and people like you. Great content, keep up the good work!

Thanks mvp. That was deep. Yeah I loved Barkley too. That was the difference with MJ. I recently talked to a childhood friend who loved the suns and hated Jordan. He now admits its just cuz Jordan beat us in 93 but as he grew up he realized that was the greatest bball player he's seen to this day. He respects Kobe a lot too now for the same reasons but we both agreed Lebron isn't even close. He is hated cuz he gets beat by everyone and still wants to be treated as the greatest. Jordan was hated because people were mad he beat their favorite team lol.

Might be the first time you remember, but it's not the first time. LeFlop did it in Cle before he left for Mia. He did the same thing. Shut himself down on the court in the playoffs. Didn't drive, didn't shoot much. Received the ball and passed the ball. Looking completely lost and overwhelmed. And generally disinterested in playing. Life was so easy for him in high school ball. But he chose not to go to college and improve his game. He found out the hard way that if you never improve, the competition will always catch up. And he never put in the work. Kobe wasn't good in his first few years. But he had a fire in his ass to get better every year until Mamba was born. And he never stopped bettering himself.

Jordan haters think they have a “Gotcha” in the Goat conversation when they say these 2 things: 1. “MJ needed help to win his chips” -Logical Argument: LeBron needed Wade, Bosh, Ray Allen (who is the reason they won the finals in 2013, not Lebron), Kyrie (who is the reason they won in 2016), and he tampered so he could have Anthony Davis join the Lakers. Never won without a star on his team. MJ has also won all Finals MVP rings even with Rodman and Pippen on the team. -Even with early career playoff losses, MJ nor Kobe never left their teams when the going got tough and were patient with the process of building a championship team (which paid off). 2. MJ never faced anybody, faced inexperienced teams, they were all elderly. -Logical Argument: he faced Magic, Karl Malone, Barkley, Bird, etc. Lebron lovers forget he only faced an older Dirk, a 30+ year old Tim Duncan, and what I like to call “Baby Thunder” or “the baby big 3.” If we want to base it on conference rival or finals team difficulties: he only had to deal with the 2009 magic, the Celtics, and 2013/2014 Pacers, and the 2015-2018 Warriors (Kyrie is the reason they won in 2016 as mentioned earlier.). They lost and beat a somewhat elderly spurs team (yes Kawhi was young but Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobli, and Tony Parker were getting old). As I mentioned earlier, MJ faced the bad boy Pistons, showtime lakers, Karl Malone/John Stockton Jazz, Shawn Kemp SuperSonics, Charles Barkley (Suns) and Clyde Drexler (Blazers). Sorry this is so long. Great video!
@TheRealMindCrime7 ай бұрын
Nah man. I love the long comments. I agree. They come at me every day in these comments with the same bs every time. But what they say isn't based in facts. Its a narrative spin based on biased emotion. MJ played 11 full seasons with the bulls and won the chip 6 times. Lebron played 11 full seasons with thr cavs and got 1 chip. I like facts lol.

It’s hard to believe after watching him say “we needed MORE HELP”, they lost to this team. Looking at the talent disparity between both teams, it was like Justice League vs a retired Suicide Squad. Dirk’s knees were going out (an old Dr. J probably had a higher vertical that year), they had undersized Jason Terry, and Jason Kidd (a shell of himself). They were practically GIVEN the title that year and he still found a way to lose. No role players were responsible, it solely Bron’s fault.
