Yes, Chuck is the closest to honesty we can get from mainstream media sports. He has LeBron 7 because of the 4 rings and himself has none. He doesn't want to be seen as someone who undervalues championships. Also Gilbert Arenas didn't even come close to a Finals, as with Chuck he lost the only one he was able to get to, and still hurts him.

💯 Chuck knows a ring is the ultimate goal. I follow his thinking on this too. Be the leader of a team that win multiple champions to be in the goat conversation.

Damn shame. One other thing NFL players respected the players that got this billion dollar industry to where it is today. Take it how you want, it’s called respect & a lot of these new NBA players don’t have that for the ones who paved the way for them.

So, to be clear, what Charles is saying is that if Fuckface von Clownstick wins another two titles, this will somehow negate the endless career flopping highlights, the never being present on defense, the turnovers, likely steroid abuse, charging into players with his elbow, complaining to the refs, being a terrible role model for future generations AND two titles is all it takes to elevate him beyond Kobe? I don't think Lebron deserves to be in the top 100. There's too much evidence out there of him cheating the game with his antics. Has no place among legit hall of famers.

Rod Strickland, Mahmoud Abdul Rauf, Nick Van Exel, Timmy Hardaway Sr., Latrell Sprewell, John Starks, Joe Dumars, Rex Chapman would thrive in today's game. If they had the Go to throw up 8-12 threes a game, then teams would average 115 a game back in the 90s. It's wild that Spurs/ Nets or Pistons/ Spurs had a Finals average of 89- 84. But the defense in Playoffs took over. The team pace was different, and D'antoni didn't implement the 7 seconds or less offense until Nash signed onto the Suns. I looked up a box score the other day where the Pistons- Knicks played into OT to a 79-78 game back in 2003. The league hit different.

oh Scottie would not agree but he does speak high about the Bulls playing the best team basketball and everyone had their role. Scottie initiated the offense, played defense, and got some points. His role was the most crucial outside of MJ's.

ESPN and Klutch Sports have really done a number on folk watching basketball over the last 20 years - They’ve tried to insert Lebron into the GOAT conversation and now they got a guy who team hopped looking for stacked teams, barely if at all takes responsibility for the times he choked - continuously complains he needs more help, who cheats the game continuously by blatant flopping, has an average midrange game and average ball handling skills, travels more than most airline pilots - has had more help from the refs than probably any other player in the history of the sport - is an average free throw shooter - ain’t great on defense and yet here we are where folk be putting him above the likes of Kareem, Wilt, Magic, Bird, Russell and truth be known quite a few other legends of the sport that move him considerably down the list of greats - don’t get me wrong - he’s a great player ( do not like the way he has carried himself on court ( the crying and flopping) and generally his mental character - he just doesn’t bring the aura of greatness with him to the court - that shrug he does is cringeworthy ) - the rot that’s invaded the media coverage which really doesn’t gel with what we have seen on court ( they continuously credit Lebron even when he has some seriously dead average games ) ESPN and Klutch is inspiring Lebrons fans to heights of stupid I don’t think I’ve seen in my 40 years of watching the NBA - all the plumber talk, all the done with the 90s talk - all the Michael can’t go left - those things are easily shown as wrong if they just did their research - but it’s all they have now - Lebron hasn’t gotten close to the greatness of Jordan so now they try to disrespect every other player who played against Jordan to try to bring him down - look at the true greats of the game and look at the greats from the 80s, 90s and early 2000s - true legends of the sport for a reason - they were playing in the best version of NBA basketball full stop 🛑

Lebron went to 9 straight NBA finals. No matter what team HE alone was the common denominator. Every team he left dropped off the map in his absence meanwhile when Jordan retired HIS Bulls team won 1 less game without him. Case Closed. Proof Jordan had plenty help compared to LBJ. If Lebron had Jordan's bulls Lebron would have 9 rings. Lebron proved he can take any team to the finals but like Jordan, you need help to win that last game.

Lebron is a all time great player but imo he’s not in the top five greatest players, I’m taking MJ, Kareem, Magic, Bird and Kobe ahead of him, after that you can give me Bron, Duncan, Hakeem, Shaq, Wilt, Barkley, Doc, Russell and Oscar put them in any position you want there’s an argument for all of them but there’s only one player that I would argue that could possibly be the greatest over Jordan and that would be Kareem 😉
