Rob, I’m sure I am like many other ppl that are long time admirers of you work. I never really knew this side of you but it all makes sense now how you have continued to evolve and do bigger and better things. I just wanted to say thank you for taking the route of podcasting to share your message and attract us likeminded souls. It’s something about the way you deliver the knowledge that makes easily digestible! Best wishes to you and your family.

Rob always provides clarity at the times we need it most. I think a lot of people have a false sense of happiness nowadays and in turn a lot of people are truly unhappy. One step at a time towards the goals.

Rob these podcasts have been so helpful to someone like myself who struggles with not allowing all of my time to be consumed by one thing to the point it makes my life quality worse instead of better. Also something you said a while back always resonates with me. You said it's OKAY to scratch a business if your hearts not in it. I'm in the proccess of doing that and moving into a completely different field

Rob, do you read the comments at all? You are an amazing person who has taught me so much about how I can make my life work the way I want it to. Btw I love Ridiculousness, please don’t stop making episodes anytime soon. Love ya!

Yah I totally agree with you on happiness is getting on the right path even if your goals are far away and making moves towards optimization as you go along. For example, I’m trying to get this vid pitch for the DM and working on getting letters of intent to purchase from gyms and getting it into a couple gyms. That way when I finally submit my vid I’ll have the best chances of getting a deal and it makes me happy to know I went all in rather than 1/2 ass it. It gives us more to talk about and shows hustle if you interview me on show. Like “yah I got rollers to Bradley Martins gym and this and this celebrity”. On a side note when you freestyle just speak slower and focus on not saying umm, like or repeating words unless it’s for emphasis. Your an amazing speaker i think we just hear you all polished on TV scripts. If your more aware of it as you deliver each sentence you’ll smooth it out more. You gotta hypnotize yourself or be aware of it to change it. I’m like that as well but I feel accomplished when I record stuff and I didn’t use any excess words. Optimize your speech and delivery as far as speed and word choice. Making your points as clear as possible with shortest most concise sentences. Besides that lil tweak your content is spot on. Keep at it bro 👊🏽 💯

Cool to be here before the pod really blows up. Rob I want to be a guest on the show, I'm an up and coming entrepreneur that got hypnotized for success per your example! Holla at your boy.

Huberman kind of validates this concept; it’s not the attainment of a goal that releases dopamine, it’s the effort and progress towards a goal that releases dopamine. Rob is a low key neuroscientist.

There is this book called the Happiness Trap that might be worth checking out.

"And now the other meaning of happiness is a rich, full and meaningful life, this kind of feeling comes when we act on the things we want truly when we move towards the direction that we think is valuable and worthy, this kind of feeling makes our life richly and meaningful life." Found this quote reading a summary of that book. I wonder if Rob has read this book because it seems like he figured a way out of the trap.

Yo Rob, We are almost identical philosophically (not your financial success of course). Not comparing. Believe it or not, I have an almost exact unlaunched “machine” and towering goals that seem impossible to accomplish but I’ve done some. I think when I form Voltron with ya, we will destroy these super formidable Robeasts so I can free myself as well to share these unique ideas with the world. If you are ever visiting Napa, come by and I’ll get lunch to chat and show you the original materials at my restaurant. Spicy Joi 🌶️. Will see ya soon. Keep up the good vibes
