About:
Based on T. S. Eliot’s Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, the show is set amongst a larger- than-life junkyard playground and is alive with our favourite feline characters including Rum Tum Tugger, Mr. Mistoffelees, Macavity, Jennyanydots, Old Deuteronomy, Grizabella and Skimbleshanks.
The Jellicle Cats come out to play on one special night of the year - the night of the Jellicle Ball. One by one they tell their stories for the amusement of Old Deuteronomy, their wise and benevolent leader, who must choose one of the Cats to ascend to The Heaviside Layer and be reborn into a whole new Jellicle life.

Jemima's biological father (if we're going along with the stepdad option), is most probable to be Macavity, as it's canon that Deme and him had an extremely abusive relationship. Anyone else feel like Coricopat and Tantomile are in a trance and using Jemima as a vocal piece they show Grizabella's memory in the song... it would explain why the three of them also 'faint' after Jemima is done singing, and also why Jemima would sing in that certain tune

Canonically, they are apparently channelling Old Deuteronomy's message to Jemima, so she can convey the message to the other cats in a way that is easier for them to understand than what he sang himself. Or something like that. So yes, they are in a trance and collapse from the effort momentarily, just for a different reason than what you said. Old D would know the song too since Grizabella sang it while he was listening. When I was young and saw this, what they were doing really confused me (although I still loved it), so I looked it up and found out that the Tantomile and Coricopat are just actual psychics and not just cliche twins doing everything the same time. I rewatch the whole thing after that looking only at what they do and started seeing other parts where it's demonstrated. Like how the other cats look for their confirmation if old D is really coming or not, before starting to celebrate.

Ken Page is a true master. Helen kills her role but arguably Ken's is one of the hardest in the show, up there with Grizabella. Songs like this are very far up north in the tenor range so Ken's really flexing in this piece, but everyone wants to praise Jemima. like ok she did a good job. but behold this man's heavenly pipes!!

So what's the deal with Exotica? At first she's laying by the car at 0:31 but then around 1:10 she's closer to Deuteronomy and in a completely different costume that kinda resembles Etcetera. Also, I never noticed that Exotica was even present during this song. It's a shame that she's not seen more often.
