That was fun with a good cast. Leslie Parrish and Michael Forest were in a Star Trek episode near the same time where he plays the god Apollo on another planet and wants Leslie as his Aphrodite. She's so pretty and has a uniquely warm, yet melancholy quality in this movie. Lola Albright is her sexy self, and Marilyn Dean in the gun shop scene is foxy too. Thanks for posting!

Wow this was a rare one. Leslie Parrish was gorgeous. Love the house on Naples Island in Long Beach. Boy the smog was bad then.

No plants were hurt in the making of this movie. The dark-haired dancer in the white outfit (she was in the tub with Don) starred in mst3k fan favorite "The Girl With Gold Boots" as a dancer. That casting is still a mystery.

Kind of between film noir and Rockford Files. Like the Rockford Files, this one was all about shady capitalist deals in SoCal. Blake was very much in the hardboiled investigator tradition, with an interesting twist on his close friendship with the cop.
