I love this video! And and now that I have an industrial, I want to make this bag but first I need some more lime green vinyl.

Lauren you just never cease to amaze me!!. No matter if things are not quite going the way you plan you never seem to lose your composure, you just push through until the purse is complete and then somehow looks amazing.:), That being said i did not sleep until you completed your purse so i could see the outcome. Love the purse but I haven't even made my first purse yet so i see this being a project for the future. Thank you so much for the tutorial i could not imagine anyone else doing it better.

Hi Lauren I want to thank you for your tutorial on this bag. I had someone call me over Christmas and wanted that bag New Years Eve to give to her son's girlfriend. I was going crazy trying to find the hardware for it and to get it to me in less than 3 days. I didn't have any strap ends so I tried it your way and thank goodness

I don't even have the patience to sew the squared-off zipper end. I just put a staple in the edge where you stitched. lol I love this pattern. I just picked it up. It will be my first Ora Rosa pattern. I look forward to making it.

That’s an awesome bag. I was thinking, maybe add strap connectors down the side and base (through the inside or outside of the base) so it adds strength to carrying all the items that will probably be put in it. If you know what I mean

Thanks Lauren. Great tutorial! Do you think the longer strap ends would add strength to the bag. I’m concerned that the ones in the pattern may be compromised if the bag gets heavy???? What do you think?

Hello, I am in the process of making this bag. I did not do the corners right at the 45 degrees. My bag is not flat, but boxed. How can I fix this without starting over from the beginning. Please help. Thanks

Hey! Have you used a hump jumper or bulky seam aid with your machine? I'm using the same as yours but when there are bits when fabrics are joined and there is a jump it can skip stitches or get stuck. Would appreciate your expertise :-)
@LaurenMormino2 жыл бұрын
I do!! But just use spare fabric folded up!
@sharonnemecek26453 жыл бұрын
Good morning, with the exterior of the bag could you use decovil heavy so it's really sturdy?
@LaurenMormino3 жыл бұрын
Honestly the peltex and decovil light is amazing! You don’t want anything that has to be fused to the exterior fabric because of the way it’s sewn together. But you could try it!
@sharonnemecek26453 жыл бұрын
@@LaurenMormino I see thank you for responding quickly.

Designer here! I tried it first with decovil heavy but the results were not nearly as nice as the peltex/decovil combo.
@cindytrese37123 жыл бұрын
Do you think adding the peltex before adding the sides would work?

Nice bag! How Thick is your vinyl? It looks pretty thick and not drapey (I don't think that's a real word). Since I'm new to working with vinyl I'm trying to figure out how to tell what thickness I really want.
