it isnt peak. it's solid, but there's a looooot of wrongs being painted over with hype. to be fair, this is true of most Monster Hunter games. most really arent that good, but they're special, and the experience they provide cant be found anywhere else, despite Capcom's best efforts to make Rise and Wilds more like other action games
