Miramichi is a small city in Northern New Brunswick, only about 25,000 people, and you're right, at the time, it was not a city, but they amalgamated the surrounding communities. This guy is a monster. People in the area still fear and hate him. As you know, the people there are wonderful, down to earth, and friendly and open minded. Mary Glendenning died several years ago, she lived into her 90s. There will be big celebrations when he dies in prison. It's my belief that if he gets out, he would immediately go back to the Miramichi and enact his revenge. Based on what I've read regarding his recent parole hearings, he has zero remorse and still blames everyone but himself for the crimes.
