Many thanks lads, seems a long time since the last episode of The Monster’s Den, I’m having a hard time waiting two weeks but well worth the wait. Cheers.

Great show as always guys. I love Craig’s excitement over the nudity. He’s says what we all feel. Jamie’s ranking system was genius. And having Dan on is always a plus. And any show with the King is a repeat watch. Thanks Pete for the great content. SOT IS THE BEST CHANNEL ON KZbin.

I was surprised though, that no one mentioned how many of the characters' last names in the original film are all horror related names of either directors, producers or actors. Such as Hitchcock, Murnau, Dreyer, Browning, Schreck, Lewton, Waggner and Chaney.

My fav scene is in the first one where the teacher gets herself croaked via the cracked mug of vodka, and exploding computer and kitchen knives before her house explodes all while John Denver is playing on the turntable!

These are some of the most terrifying movies I've ever seen. As someone who's naturally anxious about accidents - these movies amplify that anxiety tenfold and make you scared to even step outside. Then you realize most accidents in real life happen in the home - so you're scared of your own home! You know what though - as much as these movies give people anxiety - I bet they have actually saved lives! If the movies have influenced people to be even a LITTLE more safety conscious in their daily lives - then I bet the net impact of these movies has actually been pretty positive and maybe even saved people from accidents!

That was fun. I do remember seeing the first two, and part of 4. May have to revisit these some time soon. Someone I never expected to see, was Jamie the Mathematician.

I realize this is probably off track, but has anyone considered. The Twilight Zone (Favorite 3 or 5 episodes)? Could make for an interesting show.

I'm surprised that no one brought up Alexz Johnson from So Weird, and Devil's Diary played in Final Destination 1 , and 3

Craig, I agree, AJ Cook is the prettiest girl in the series. The first time I saw her on Criminal Minds I was blown away! Other mentions in the series are MEW in pt 3 and Shantel Van Santen and Krista Allen, both in part 4. I would rank them in this order: 1 2 3 5 4

I was watching you guys signing off and I was wondering, "did I black out or fall asleep" because I was thinking that I don't remember Pete talking about his #1 film. Then, of course, your coda answered that. I haven't watched these in about a year, so I can't really rank them. However, I do remember liking FD #4 the least. It had the worst special effects - the opening scene looked terrible. Overall, I like this series for the reasons you all talked about - it's different. I like that there are no antagonists except for Death itself. I also liked the Rube-Goldberg device nature of the kills. When a scene starts, you're always trying to guess how they're going to die. Glad you all brought up that, yes, this series is filled with attractive women. Crystal Lowe, whom I know from the Signed, Sealed and Delivered movies/shows, being topless made the tanning beds scene great. One big problem I had with FD #2 was that when the crash first happened, they were driving on the road several minutes and would have been way out of sight for anyone to see it from the intersection where they had stopped at because of the premonition. But they sat there very briefly then saw the explosion not too far away. Having said that, I still liked the movie.

Worst to best: 5. The Final Destination. It baffled me when Craig mentioned this one having the biggest budget of the lot. That's just insane, considering how much cheaper it looks than the others. When watching it I sincerely thought it was a straight to DVD movie. I liked the escalator kill during the dreaming sequence towards the end of the film, but other than that I found it really bad, almost to the point of it being offensive how bad it was. 2/10 4. Final Destination 5. From here on every film was enjoyable. Didn't mind the bridge part, but not as good as the opening scenes in 1 and 2. The gymnastics death was great! Also liked the twist at the end. 5/10 3. Final Destination. Iconic opening scene, I love how the blast wave from the exploding plane breaks the windows at the airport. The kills are just all right, they improved a bit in the next two films I thought. 6/10 2. Final Destination 2. 1 and 2 are almost equal to me, but I'll give 2 the edge for having the best opening scene of the franchise. The entire scene, with the log going through the police car as the highlight, is just superbly done. 6/10 1. Final Destination 3. My least favorite opening scene of the four films that matter. Every character just seemed like pricks to begin with. The dream sequence in the rollercoaster was decent however. From this point on though I just thought the film got better and better. Mary Elizabeth Winstead is a godess, and there's so many great kills here. The tanning bed being an obvious highlight. I also loved the nailgun kill in the hardware store. 8/10

This series is a lot of fun. I'd go: 1. Final Destination 3 Good lead chick and lots of good kills (the tanning bed scene! the nail gun! the head crushed by weights!) 2. Final Destination Maybe the deaths aren't the best, but the airplane scene is tremendous, and I think the lead actor is really good and has good chemistry with Clear Rivers (what a stupid name). 3. Final Destination 2 Amazing kills and great highway set-piece, but some of the plot like the stuff with the pregnant lady and everything involving the cop is dumb. 4. Final Destination 5 I like the suspension bridge part, but the other kills aren't much, and the two leads are dullsville. Great twist ending, though! 5. The Final Destination Okay, this one stinks.

All the Final Destination movies are well worth seeing in some ways, I haven't watched them in a while don't quite remember which movie has which kills so couldn't really rank them because of superficial similarities.

Okay, here it goes. Part 4, part 5, part 1, part 2, and part 3. Why is part 3 my favorite? Mary Elizabeth Winstead is so hot. 2 is second, because A.J is also hot. BTW, Jamie. I also know that Josh Todd is the singer of Buckcherry. His wife(Mitzi Shore) was one of the hot aliens in Dude, Where's My Car. Yes, that jerk guy in Final Destination 5 did resemble Tom Cruise. These are always on HBO Max. Ryan Merimen was also Dekker in Halloween Resurrection. I also like Mary Elizabeth in Live Free Or Die Hard. No one mentioned that you can actually see glimpses of a shadow in part 1, especially where that guy dies in the shower. I can't wait for part 6.

I've only seen the first one and the fourth one - and I actually enjoyed the former, and appreciated the whole thing that the only villain was actually death itself. That said, Devon Sawa absolutely sucks as an actor! And yes, I'm glad Kerr Smith got it at the end. The partial diagonal beheading of Seann William Scott actually got me for a split second, as did the hot but vapid blonde suddenly getting hit by that bus to the song "Into the Void" from Nine Inch Nails. The teacher death was fucked up, too. Ali Larter did look a bit frumpy as a brunette. She's actually at her hottest, in my opinion, in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back! The fourth one had a less realistic scenario, in my opinion, than the other four. I never saw 2, 3 or 5 - but a plane crash (1), massive automobile pile up on the highway (2), rollercoaster collapse (3), and a bridge collapse (4) could actually happen, and in the history of time such things have happened unfortunately. But I'm not sure how realistic it is for an accident on a racetrack to cause such a big catastrophe killing everybody at a stadium/speedway. Maybe, I'll watch them all at some point. The second one has it's twentieth anniversary this year, so perhaps. Now, pivoting off topic for just a second, I need to recommend an awesome new movie to all of you - especially Pete, Chris, and Jamie. See Brandon Cronenberg's (son of David Cronenberg) new film Infinity Pool ASAFP!!!!!!!!

Jamie, I loved your ranking system.💖💖 It sounded more difficult than it was; however, it made perfect sense. I would love to see Final Destination 4 for the Neo-Nazi or whatever getting his. People like, fictional or in real-life, make me sick. I wanted to download them all on my computer, but I'd have to pay and Tubi doesn't show them anymore. 😢😢Oh well, maybe someday.

The first three were the best. Give it to one for the best movie and the first 20 minutes were great, Two for the best death sequence re the crash scene and three may have been the most entertaining. The other two were a drop off in quality.
