Hard to know if Kim will start, but if he does, I think it makes more sense to start him at SS where he has also won a Korean Gold Glove. That would let Mookie return to 2B, the position he played in the Red Sox minor league system all the way up until he debuted. Dustin Pedroia was entrenched as Boston's 2B at the time. Mookie is a good second baseman, but was a work in progress as a shortstop last year.
