About a month ago I had a dream that critter traps no longer required plastic to build (in my dream they used the various minerals available instead of plastic) and I was able to move critters around much more easily on my base. When I woke up I realize that my dream was unfortunately just that. But here today my dream became a reality as if Klei heard my silent prayer. Thank you Klei. :)

You forgot to mention, if you heat up the milk instead of using the machine, you get more wax out of it. Also for the gassy grass it is better to separate them and not put them together in one room with the moo, reason being the natural gas produce by the moo will dim the light receive by the grass making it hard to grow. Because the grass need very little liquid chlorine, your pipe will slowly warm up the liquid if you are not using insoresin as the material for insulated pipe breaking the pipe in the process. Your meep will NOT harvest the grass automatically, not unless you set those plants as harvestable using your tool icon. Those are my findings.

great info! didn't know about the pufts changes. FYI my wild pip planted gas grass still sleeps at night so maybe just a change for farmed gas grass? hold up the moos come by meteor? i've probably unintentionally shot some 😭 strangely enough i do seem to have a bunch congregating on the right side of my map, not sure how they got there since most of the space is walled off with bunkers. Also have not been able to auto wrangle them... maybe i'll try the trap again, i think i wasn't using the airborn critter trap

you should try the 100k challenge. Its a workshop mod that makes the whole planetoid generate at 100 degrees kelvin, and I've been having a bunch of fun with it for the past several weeks. you have to do a lot of things very differently from how you normally would- most of the time, you're not trying to cool down your base, but instead heat certain parts to certain temps, like for farms or even ranches.

I usually NEVER bothered with the plastic, single use traps. Just use a drop off!! But now that they're both reusable and use metal ore, it will make it easier. Although it needs not just a rancher but a max level one to arm it... but still more viable than the old ones.

Oh that is bad. If you convert a save to the new testing branch you cannot undo that. I would recommend. reverting to the regular Update version and the reloading an older save that has never been loaded with the new testing branch

Oh those is visco gel. It has a high viscosity and doesn't flow good. Google or youtube for: stacked liquid lock, this will give you a how to do it with other liquids. :)

Funny you say that. This is one of the few videos I DID use voice normalization. I am still not sure I use it correct though. There is the relative and individual normalization and different peak analysis. The Normalization (I use) does somehow work bad for me since i have a habit of starting my sentences out loud and dropping off toward the end. When i normalize that then the program takes the highest point (the beginning) and puts that at 0dB. If I have a cut behind that point the rest will get increased to the 0dB line as well. If there is no cut it will be quieter. In short: you are correct I should look into it again, how to do it correctly. I am using Davinci resolve 18.5 if you have any tips i will appreciate it; I will also watch some tutorials if I remember

There's no way of making chlorine other than a good vent and you need it for bleach stone, too. Now since you'll be able to make own bleach stone it will be a little better, but having only 1 chlorine vent on map makes it not so easy to feed all gas grass constantly.

Hey Kutai :) Yes everything. Only difference being the telescopes and the method of aquiring your first moos. I didn't want to spend a few hours more just to get 5 seconds of the footage - how you get the moo in the base game space map-. I thought finishing the video on time has a higher priority. If you want to check exactly what works where the link in the description leads to the Original Source. There it is split into: Both games, dlcs only, base game only etc.

Hey hey, :D nah i am just a small internetdude. Everyone can acces the early Update. It technically i called "public testing". In the source link I put in the description there is always a guide from klei. "How do I play the public testing build? How to change branches in Oxygen Not Included (Steam) In Steam, click on Library > Games. Scroll down to Oxygen Not Included. Right-click and select Properties. Go to the BETAS tab. In the dropdown, select the name of the branch you want to play. In this case, the branch name is "public_testing" This branch does not require a password. In that same Properties window, go to the Local Files tab and press "Verify Integrity Of Game Cache." Your game will be updated to the the previous branch. Launch and play Oxygen Not Included "

You can switch your game to play on the "public test" version of the game but it will be less stable. All the updates coming get tested there first.
