Excellent documentary! Thank you for posting. I had no idea about the "adulation " trip that their music inspired in people .. "because we asked the questions, people assumed we had the answers " messiahs!!!

Yes at least 6 great albums, I wish they didn't change their style in the later songs but like many others who had great albums starting off and all the one hit wonders never seem to be able to do it again

Thanks for loading this to youtube. I had the video of this very same documentary as a child in the 90's. My father got me into the MB's as a child, and I've been a fan every since. I've seen them in concert many many times. The song Tuesday Afternoon has new meaning in my life as of 2016. My first born, a daughter was born on a beautiful spring day, and was a Tuesday afternoon.

Being perfectly honest I wasn’t a big MB’s fan back in the day but in the last year or two I have come to really appreciate their music. And…I am so glad I stumbled onto this video. This doc is epic! These guys are 1st class men and some of the best musicians OF ALL TIME. As a front man Justin is so humble. Thank you for posting this. From Anniston Alabama, USA. 🇺🇸

@ as I have come realize in past couple of years yes they were not only in their own league but leagues ahead of many other bands. After all they were “Singers In A Rock N Roll Band” (one of my fav songs I listen to frequently). If you have more MB documentaries please let me know.

I remember the Moody Blues being a guilty pleasure. I wasn't sure why they were uncool, but they were. I loved specific songs of theirs although I didn't care for their albums with the exception of Days of Future Passed. That one was top 10 of all time for me. I'm 71 and in looking back, I think I sensed a lack of genuine authenticity in their music, beautiful as it was. They seemed to be trying too hard to follow the trends and tastes of the public. For me, Ray Thomas' voice was an irritation, that falsetto was just embarrassing. In fact, for me, Ray was the reason the band was uncool. He seemed like John Cleese trying to be a rock star. He just was kind of dorkey to me. All the other guys were very cool, but Ray was the odd man out. Just my opinion, unpopular as it is, even to me. If I were to make a compilation CD of my favorite tracks from all their albums, it would never leave my listening rotation. Tuesday Afternoon, SeeSaw and Question are undeniably all time classics, by themselves sufficient reason to put the band in the Hall of Fame 🏆🎶

Moody Blues fans did not accept the later songs in the late 70s to 80s obviously that's what most of your documentary is about, only one or two songs made it like wildest dreams, after the early 70s their music shifted to soft pop stuff and did not interest true Moody Blues fans

My personal opinion is a documentary should start off in the beginning of their career around 1965 to the present, playing songs accordingly by the year, it's your channel u do what u want, I think it's the difference between 7k views in 3 months to 70k views in 3 months depending on the band you're presenting and the Moody Blues was a good choice
