I am 66 probably older than most of you. Surviving a brutal father left a lot of pain and depression. The Moody Blues music in a way saved my life. They were my salvation!!!! Didn’t turn to alcohol or drugs-turned to the Moodies. Man the times they helped me through .............

1970 and I was just back from my second tour in Vietnam and newly back into civilian life. I was uncomfortable in crowds where I could not see peoples hands and was unconsciously always on the alert for something to happen. I was pretty tightly wound for awhile and did not react well to sudden loud noises. Laying on big beanbag pillows on the floor my apartment with headphones on listening to the moody blues was a great source of peace. Their music was both calming and inspirational and I am very glad they were making such incredible music that was such a benefit. I am now 76 and still enjoying their music.

PTSD . I hope and pray that you are much better today. That war took its toll on a lot of young men and boys.. I had two cousins who participated in that war. One of them ended up killing himself, and the other one is still alive. And he accepted Christ Jesus as his savior which helped him to deal with the memories of the atrocities and psychological part of being there. As well as coming home. And many lives were lost before this government actually decided to bring him home. And you guys also put up with a lot of liberal bleeding hearts who claimed so many things that weren't done by you guys and spit in your face and treated you like garbage. And that's why I and listen in the Army in 1976 and started voting Republican instead of democrat . Because they are the racist and the warmongers

Iraq vet, I'm 70, wounded in 2006. These guys had a music no one ever matched--peaceful, DEEP original lyrics. Wish we had more of their caliber today. We have a violent society now, off the deep left, and wars everywhere. But they brought PEACE to our ears and hearts WAY back in the 70s. Revive this type music for this battered world...who knows what would happen?

I haven't heard this tune in over 50 years. Justin's quiet desperation in this song is classic unique & heartfelt. I went down the list, starting with the Question. If I was in college now, this should still be on everybody's turntable. The whole album. Put "DAYS OF FUTURE PAST" on after The Weekend or something mediocre like that & see the reaction of your friends.

It has been researched by psychologists that you are very sensitive to music during your childhood, you will always like that. So if this plays out and your children whore this regularly, they will also like this and pass it on. This is how classical music has survived, they played the scores from their youth again.

I got into the Moody Blues so many years ago through my brother who was a fan, and I was probably the only one of my circle of friends that was and is a fan. Geez, they do not know what they missed. Classic Moody Blues is amazing, I have heard these LP's so many times and even so many years later I still cherish those sounds. Fortunately they made so much excellent stuff that there is just so much to experience. I am now 60, but their early music takes me so far back to those days of a new Moody Blues LP playing on the radiogram. Memories......

One of Justin Hayward's signature songs. There is an Orchestral Theme that relates his and the Moody Blues songs - like Nights in White Satin, Tuesday Afternoon, Threshhold... A great band from a time of particularly creative sources. And they are still playing!

I was 16 when I was introduced to Nights in White Satin. Since then I have taken a truly incredible, emotional, awe inspiring journey through this music. Justin always seemed to reach into my heart and put down in words all my feelings and emotions. Their music never lies to you, never mocks you, never cheats on you and never shuts you down. For the last 51 years, Justin, thank you with all my heart

They are in The Top Five Most Favorite Bands in The World That I Really Love To Listen To Especially With The Newer Music that’s Out There Now and Some of that music is ok but some more than Others for Sure! They Will Never Make Great Music Like This Again ! Love the later 60’s but the Best Era for Music is the 70’s by Far ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

66...,just now down the gorgeous rabbit hole that is the Moody Blues, beyond what I heard on the radio my entire life! ( Thank you my love!) How have I never heard this one?? And if this is the original video for this song, wow! Having been the generation that witnessed the evolution of music videos way before MTV ( and I was there for day 1, with great anticipation, but also a good eye after a decade of late nights watching the music programs back in the day, when I was supposed to be sleeping, haha....) This video, if I'm to believe it was original from the release of this lovely song, is WAY ahead of its time. Furthermore, still floored I've never heard this, this is a gorgeous arrangement and lyrics! At 60, I've nearly lost 65-70% of my hearing ( and no, not due to my love of music, mostly a genetic disorder) it's distressing to be so limited as to when I'm able to indulge in what I once took for granted daily. Music is my passion, same as reading and creating my art. And this has been stolen from me-- hoping the pending hearing aid is going to restore this! Nonetheless, due to the wildly fluctuating nature of my loss, I found this song on one of my rare good days-- when my hearing reappears, I binge on music!-- and this, my friends, is yet another masterpiece my MB. Also--young Justin....no words. I always appreciated the poetry and artistic measure of this band, growing up, even with the few hits I was aware of; now, in my mellow old age, discovering more, this is just so awesome, rediscovering a band I'd only known on the periphery before. So, I guess new fan at 60? Well, anything is possible, apparently. ✌🏼😎❤️✨🌻🎶 It seems old dogs can indeed be retrained. 😊

"Never Comes The Day" Work away today, work away tomorrow. Never comes the day for my love and me. I feel her gently sighing as the evening slips away. If only you knew what's inside of me now You wouldn't want to know me somehow, But You will love me tonight, We alone will be alright, In the end. Give just a little bit more Take a little bit less From each other tonight Admit what you're feeling And see what's in front of you, It's never out of your sight. You know it's true, We all know that it's true. Work away today, think about tomorrow Never comes the day for my love and me.
