Thank you very much for posting this video. I’ve listened to and loved the Moody Blues since I first started hearing their songs on the radio. Back then, that was the only music media that we had. I’m a 73 year old woman now and imagine my surprise when I first got a look at Justin Hayward back in the 1980’s. For some reason I didn’t think there would be a handsome Moody Blue but Justin was and pretty much still is very handsome. John Lodge is too and he has a wonderful smile. I’ve heard all of their songs and I’ve never been disappointed in them. Now with KZbin I can watch them all I want to.

I simply love seeing the Moodies in their early years. Justin's voice was so magickal back then. There is no one who could sing Nights in White Satin like Justin. This sounds great. What a great band and such talent. I basically grew up with them when they first came out with Nights. I was only 18 and fell in love with the voice, the lyrics made me sad, the music was beautiful but haunting. I had no idea what Justin looked like but I fell in love with that beautiful, unique voice. They liked not being recognized so that they could easily walk around and not be mobbed.

Really impressive Stereo sound and with original video footage for the song.. That was generally a rare thing in that period.. The Moody Blues are the most underrated band of the 1970's.. These fellow's created a high quality symphonic rock sound wth every song and album a compelling adventure of stories, lore, poetry and musings. Great work with the full Sterophonic sound.

Justin's voice never changes even after 50 years. It's strong and beautiful still. This is the music they played in Michigan in the states. I didn't know any of ìt. I was a little upset because I had never heard any of these. It was worth just hearing Justin's voice

I was very fortunate-- I saw the Moody Blues live at least a dozen times at different venues over the years---- I play many of their songs, but don't own a mellotron!!!!!

I always wondered what a collaboration of The Moody Blues and John Denver would have been like. They put so many sounds together that catch you in a strikingly different way. Like the whispering with the singing. I made myself some cloud blue jeans after watching a concert where Ray wore them.

@marc layne - I'm 100 % American born English, Irish and German blend, and I can't disagree at all with your comments! Of course I failed to say I've been a devout fan of The Moodys since the beginning of time so, I may be a tad biased. We had our good share of R&R bands too, here in the Colonies. But you're right - just look at the great number of top British bands and that speaks for itself! I want one of those castles! 🎩
