Thy are their best at night I cut them and press them in my Bible I have one From 2018 the last plant my husband planted me before he passed away . What beautiful memories I plant them every year and give them away as a small vine for all my family and friends.

You should trim it to maximize sunlight exposure, trim the leaves nearby and covering the flowers and you’ll get more blooms/flowers.

I am curious as to why they are one and done.. You know how everything in nature does something for a reason and works hand in hand with its environment. My youngest daughter would love to have this bush. She is really into making things grow. Good to see you sir!

I started growing the moonflowers a couple of years ago. I also grow a yellow hibiscus plant with a crimson center. I am probably going to grow them both in 2024.

plants are better then roommates they don't whine and complain, they don't start a bunch of crap, they stay outside and don't cause any problems. HMB what you need is a caroline raspberry bush $12 at Lowes. fruit trees are cool also, I got 10 planed in my yard.

I have been planting moonflower for 20 years, this one is beautiful. But here in my zone it has to be in the shade!! I get so sick of people stating that the jimson weed is a moonflower!!! it has points on the petals unlike the genuine moonflower!! plus moonflower is a vine the jimson weed is not it's a bush and its hallucinogenic

Thanks for your interest. I used a large tomato stake cage and a couple large wooden stakes to hold it all up. It Got very heavy.

Moon flowers are illegal in Some counties in Oklahoma because there has been a problem with youth using it as drugs as they are a hullicinagenic. Not sure how to spell that. The plant is really cool, but can be dangerous to.
