I CANNOT believe that horse is 29. He owes that to you. When you were lungeing him, he moved like a well-trained 10 y.o. no sway-back, gathered, lifting his feet (oh so nicely). It was a great joy to see that beautiful horse working.

First off, the opening photography is amazing and so crystal clear!! Oskar Robin walking in his daddy's shoes is beyond cute!! I like how Charlie and Rupert take turns pumping up the boat, and making sure their baby brother has his life vest secured. The beautiful smile on Charlie's face when he looks at Osker Robin is filled with love!! And Toby wrapping his arms around his baby brother in the boat made me smile. The two youngest Moon brothers "sailing" on the grass is so heartwarming. Rupert adores Oskar Robin!! Your family is so very special!! Your channel is essential for my mental health!! Loved seeing the horses and especially Madjik who is doing much better. Thank you, Nick, for explaining the soft rope used in helping Madjik to do his "steps." What a beautiful gait Madjik has!!! My tears came seeing Nick work with him on the lunge line. It brought back the truly magical -- & never forgotten -- months when I fulfilled a childhood dream of really learning about horses, including how to ride the correct way. Between working full time & taking 1 science class per semester, & cutting back to half time work & full time nursing school, I found the place for me. This was around 1980. I had finished 4 years of uni, working all but the first year. Was comfortable on a VERY tight budget. Figured out that I could afford 2, semi-private riding lessons/week. So, I presented myself to the 2 women who owned/ran the riding school & small boarding facility. NOT fancy. Very basic. In a very temperate part of Southern California. The women had a 100% wholistic approach to horses. Sentient beings who absolutely intuit our emotions, attitude, focus. This fit what I already practiced with other animals. I advised the women that I wanted to learn & do everything related to riding. Catch my designated horse, coax into the halter, walk up from the paddock, groom (including hooves), bridle & saddle. Well . . . I was on the horse, with a specially designed bareback pad, comfortable for the horse, & strategically padded to encourage correct seat. No stirrups. No reins. 😮 With my instructor holding the lunge line. Terror for less than a second. Wanted to continue to feel the pure joy & love, being on horseback. First few months, when I dismounted, I was sitting in the dirt. Legs trembling. My quads were strong. Adductors, not so much. When my instructor deemed me ready for a saddle & stirrups (I think the reins came first?), I asked to stay on the bareback pad. Was learning VERY basic dressage. WHAT A JOY!!! And, because I scheduled my class time for late morning on weekdays (before my evening hospital shift), I was usually the only student. I was SO sad to end that time. I was getting married, & starting nursing school 2 days later. You Magical Moons & all the living creatures you cherish bring such joy. Blessings.

When our daughter was Oskar Robin's age our inflatable dinghy was her swimming pool. She soon graduated to canoes and kayaks and has passed those boat skills to her own teenagers. A lifetime of family fun in on little boat! Congrats.
