The Moral Dilemma of Yuji | Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 11 Analysis

Jujutsu Kaisen has continuous present moral dilemma's for Yuji to overcome, but episode 11 takes it a step further. If Yuji continues to be part of Jujutsu Society then eventually he might have to take a life. However judging by normal "Shonen Standards" this would not be a thing, but in recent years.... Shonen Standards have shifted quite a bit. Whatever happens in the upcoming episodes might be important to Yuji's character going forward. Ready for JJK Episode 12 Review?

This episode went from joyful to depressing real quick It's sad what happened to Junpei's mother she was a really caring and loving mother and was the only person Junpei had in his life, and now she's gone and Junpei now dragged further into darkness and despair, it's very sad. Honestly Nanabi is just amazing. What he talks about in the previous episode about what it means to be an adult and then he goes "I am an adult and you are a child". At first we just think he's being an ass, but when he said "being a kid is not a sin" that's when we see what he really means. It's just such a good line.

I love how supportive the adults are in Jujutsu Kaisen. The audience didn't question the trio getting assigned a special grade case because that's what usually happens in Shonen. But it was a mistake, and I think it set the tone on how protective the adults are in this anime. Kids are kids and they should experience things normal kids would (Gojo wanting Yuuji to participate in the school exchange despite being Sukuna's vessel and being targeted by the higher ups + Nanami wanting Yuuji to keep his innocence)

The mom did not deserve this. And I want to give Junpei a hug. I feel like I just watched him spiral down a dark path he won't get out from, the new friendship he gained feels as though he's spiralling down even faster, and further, with every small positive becoming negative. And then there's his moral understanding of indifference and fondness, which to some degree I see as well. Never so quickly have I wished for the happiness of a character more than Junpei. And so far, Nanami is quickly becoming one of my favorite sensei-like anime characters for so many reasons, it's awesome and I really want to see more of him in the future episodes. And on another note, thanks for another great review. I've been watching your vids for a good long while now, and while I don't always comment, I always appreciate the enthusiasm you have, because it makes my days a little better. Thank you.

I personally saw the death of his mom coming, but I didn't think it would happen this soon. I feel like the whole dinner part and showing how important she was to Junpei, gave me pretty huge red flags. Not to mention how Junpei was set up as a character. I personally got very attached to the mother. It was great seeing someone like that in his life. A very good episode, can't wait to see more.

Mahito is just a cool villain, a very complex character that you love to hate. Mahito, Makima from Chainsawman and Shigaraki Tomura from MHA are the best main villains of recent shonen. The common thing about those three is the fact, that we as readers experience their journey.

Demon slayer quality in story is average(ufotable made it shine) but this definitely has a better story
