Many people (outside Russia) believe that she was murdered by accident and that Mr. Dugin was the real target, you know "the Putin mastermind" which is a streight up lie, first pushed by Obama. Oh no! Thats not true! Darya was the real target because she, same as Maxim Fomin (i.e Vladlen Tatarsky who was also murdered), Zahar Prilepin (survived the car bomb) and so many other journalists-war correspondents-bloggers and even singers-musicians, was exposing the lies and the crimes of the Ukro-Reich and the atrocities committed by the Kiev Regime and their N@zi Squads, financed, trained and deployed mainly by the US and UK i.e NATO.

Honest intellectuals like him who are courageous enough to change their views in the light of new realities are extremely rare in our world today. He disagreed with China's embrace of globalisation in the 1990s because he saw the risk of the west diminishing the value foundation of China. But when he saw that China was able to develop its economy at breakneck pace while keeping true to its socialist values, he gradually changed his mind; this was no doubt also a result of his continuing engagement with Chinese intellectuals.

He is right in some respect that china is losing its traditional values and socialist, communist values. It is not only Dugin who saw and express this view. China should have some self reflection before tt is too late. If you look at people today in china, marriage rates and birth rates are down, consumerism, narcissism, materialism are on the rise just like the west but not as advance stages like westernized Japan and South Korea where marriage and birth rates at historical lows, peak feminism, consumerism, materialism, and narcissim. Whether China or its government will create models to rebuild and shore up traditional family values, male female roles, and explore human development away from western style consumerism, materialism, narcissism remains to be seen.
@Matt-rw9py
@Matt-rw9py 9 күн бұрын
@@marty.l When a society becomes wealthy then it abandons its traditional values that led it to the riches and high status. Then the good times gradually lead to decadence, confusion and total failure and then it (the society) starts seeking solutions to the problems it itself generated and finds them in traditional values and the process of restoring its position starts all over again. The whole cycle lasts decades and even centuries and for some countries even millenniums. The same principle applies to China, the question is how soon the collapse of China will take place.

I think this is a trend for the world. The more people know about modern China and see what China has accomplished without compromising it's traditional values, the more the world will admire China. Many do not understand China, and this was China's weakness. But as China keeps developing and the more people to people and cultural exchanges, the more the world will come to see Chinese wisdom and learn from China(and vice versa). That was also China's weakness in the past. It was not humble enough to learn and adapt, and so it fell behind and suffered century of humiliation. But modern china is open and willing to learn from everyone. Learn and copy from the best and adapt it to Chinese civilization(ie "X with Chinese Characteristics")

Referring to Professor Dugin's statement regarding the differences in the paths of civilization development between China and Russia, it should be clearly emphasized here that the collapse of the USSR and the "wild" reprivatization, which was followed by the growth of oligarchy and the sale of state assets to Western corporations (mostly from the USA); contributed to setting a precedent where, in the early 1990s, Russia practically became an economically and politically semi-colonial country, almost comparable to China at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Hence the anti-Russian and anti-Chinese attitude in the West today, as the neo-imperial and neo-colonial tendencies of the West under the guise of the so-called pax americana are being overthrown in the 21st century in favor of a multipolar world in accordance with the division into civilization circles mentioned by Professor Dugin.

And we are still a semi-colony in some sense to this day. I have no other explanation for why we continue to sell uranium, steel, oil and gas to the US and Europe, who transform it into bombs and bullets to send to Ukraine. Or why we are still members of the WHO, WTO, etc. Or why many of the officials from the Yeltsin era continue to remain in power.

Notice how the Russians say so many great things about China, sing praises, laud Chinese civilization and philosophy. But the Chinese hardly do that about Russia. Great friendship.

From the perspective of an Indian, this is 100 % true. China is in deed a global leader and they deserve respect for what they have achieved. Especially the latest initiative to eradicate poverty and to discipline corporates. It may be controversial but it is the need of the hour. I hope China-India relationships get better. There is one thing that pains me in this aspect. China is infact bullying India in its borders and that is causing a lot of anti-china sentiment in india. This might drive indian politicians away from china and in to the unipolar world again. Hence China must stop provoking India militarily and accept the new growing India. If the politicians stop being short sighted and work out the border issues amicably , the future will belong to asia.

Good interview. Just don't ask him about Ivan Ilyin (a Nazi sympathizer before the the Second World War, a collaborator with the CIA cutout 'National Alliance of Russian Solidarists' after the war). Dugin opened the Higher Political School Named After Ivan Ilyin at the Russian State University for the Humanities last year. As a Russian I am jealous of China for not abandoning its path to socialism. Your country shows where we could have been if we didn't abandon the road of socialism. With people like Ilyin and Dugin guiding our philosophy we will only end up in the dark ages.

Geopolitics can be understood by simplifying it to the local level. When you were kids, nobody liked the bully in the neighborhood. He did everything he could to maintain his hegemony over the rest of the weaker kids. There was an oppressive mood that dominated all relationships because fear of punishment for displeasing the bully always hovered. This prevailed until, by and by, some of the other boys began to grow up, put on some beef, learn a few tricks. The "unipolar moment" in the neighborhood transitions into a multi-polar one, people learn to respect one another's rights and privileges, and the oppression dissipates. The only question is whether America will learn this in a sudden, violent lesson, or gradually and peacefully. If Biden's gang continues, my guess is it will take the sudden, violent lesson. My country, America, needs serious humbling ... for the world's welfare, and its own.

I admire the early Soviet Union. They were a group of idealists with internationalist spirit. I also feel particularly sorry for the corruption of the Soviet Union and its imperialist behavior in the later period. Russia has admired the West and longed to be a member of the West for hundreds of years, so what happened next is not surprising. Fortunately Russia sees the reality now.

So right! The anglo Saxon West, five countries plus the EU, is just 11% of the World population abd declining further, which is why Russia has overcome sanctions and joined BRICS and the Global South to create a uni-polar World to overcome the imperialism of the West (aka the USA).
