The morning I found out I had been marked as an apostate. May 11, 2018

This is super unpleasant to watch for me, but if it helps another person wake up to the absurdities of Watchtower (aka JWdotORG), then so be it. The main reason why I'm OK with seeing myself like this (a mess!) is because I can see, feel, and hear that I'm growing from this experience. I was trying to simply fade from the organization, but Watchtower policy turns elders, who are "victims of victims" themselves, into Spanish Inquisition style hunters. This is not shepherding the flock of God...this is wrangling sheep with lassos and whips. I do not blame my elders for treating me this way...I don't take it personally anymore. (but as you can see in this video, I did initially)
We all "teach people how to treat us." I'm finally learning how to respond to this Pharisee style of governance: Know your rights. (Human Rights section 3 and 18 specifically). Don't cower in fear. Maybe elders don't realize how abusive they are behaving because nobody ever called them out on it before. I don't know, but I look at people like Paul and how he appealed to his Roman citizenship and spoke the truth in the public square. Imagine being in a KH where a DFing announcement is made and each member of the congregation responds by NOT shunning. It starts with me. We are all powerful to stand up to injustice and unloving treatment.

Just saw this. You have been through a traumatic tsunami. I am so glad you came through this. Sad part was that you only asked a simple question. It wasn't like you were going around saying things. I don't know you, but I love you. I am grateful for the raw honesty & willingness to expose your pain in order to strengthen & build up others. I, too, am 40yr old born-in (2nd gen) currently a reg pio, but soon to be "off the list" due to employment schedule conflicts. Dad was an elder for 25 yrs, mom has been a reg pio for 5 years.. My older Bro was in bethel for 25 yrs, then special pio, now reg pio. Whole family deeply rooted, and in scared because I'm currently PIMO, and dad has upcoming heart surgery, my niece is graduating in 2 months... We're extremely close family.... I'm trying to mentally emotionally prepare for the worst, while trying to find sound reasoning & logic to appeal to their hearts & keep our relationship in tact. I'm reading crisis of conscience, shepherd the flock book, and weirdly a book called "the metamorphosis" by Franz Kafka which has many metaphors & parallels to these core belief alterations.. Cindy, make sure you find a support network yourself. Losing such a close knit family can be very traumatic. It took me almost two years before I began to feel the impact of losing the brotherhood. It didn't make me wavier in my stand for Christ, but I did have mourn the loss of those relationships.

Dear Alexandra, I know this video is over a year old now. I have watched some of your other videos in the past but not this one and also my memory is not so great at recalling some details but I want to let you know I think you are a special person and loved by our creator...how do you say that... my spiritually has evolved so much since leaving the witness organization. You are so intelligent and express yourself so well and it is obvious you care very much for others. I was cursed in the organization for not having ANY family ties (over 20 years) it is a blessing now of course but I feel so for those with deep family history that have woken up to the real truth. I laugh because I was one with a conscious and had to tell on myself so often but seeing how these matters were handled was what began to wake me up I think. Oh the lurid details still penned down somewhere in an envelope in some kingdom hall lol. I was raised Catholic became Apostolic Pentecostal then one of Jehovah's Witnesses figure that out. My (second) marriage was another story. But this is now. I have survived quite well somehow. Don't be surprised by all of disassociation because truly spiritual people don't fit in most places on this Earth. I'm still looking. It's been 8 years since leaving (getting disfellowshipped). This journey is still unfolding. What a process! Follow the joy (and your intuition of course). God is a happy God and has a sense of humor. Well, I attended 3 KH meetings after my marking talk. I raised my hand to give comments. I was ignored. No elders have called me since to meet with me. I also attended 2 KH funerals where I was outright shunned by several JWs. What's interesting... shortly after that (November 2018) my elders gave ANOTHER local needs CLARIFYING that marked people SHOULD be greeted INSIDE a KH, but if you don't want to offer greetings OUTSIDE the KH that's ok. I attended a meeting November 11, 2018 and I was love bombed! So silly....goes to show that people are not allowed to think for themselves. So yeah....no contact from any elders, but I was told (this week)that my elders now do know of my KZbin channel. I hope they start to wake up to what they're involved in. My door is open to them anytime 😊. Christian freedom is such a blessing and a beautiful way to live life. There is no fear in love.

I have "family members" and I'm saying that to keep their privacy....but anyway...I have family members that are Jehovah's witnesses. They at one point were trying to convert me. So they had a man and his wife come to the house and talk to me. I had decided to write a list of questions for him to answer and when I gave it to him he seemed very annoyed. Didn't get any answers to any of my questions, but instead got treated like I had the mind of a 9 year old. He was very demeaning and seemed very arrogant to me. I did not like him at all. his wife mostly just sat quietly. She was a little easier to tolerate.

Of all the videos I’ve just recently been brave enough to watch yours is the only one that I feel that I can most relate with because you are not bashing you are simply telling your experience. One thing I love and feel most appreciative is that you are not now proudly waving the Apostasy Flag and calling the W.T Org. “A Cult”. Nothing turns me off more! I have just recently come into realization of the child abuse scandals that they have been covering up and I am Appalled! However, like you my faith in Jehovah and his Son remain strong. Very sorry for the pain you have. All those who have given themselves to our Lord Jesus and rejected the false doctrine(s) of the Governing Body, have His protection. I was a JW for 45 years (1971-2016). The conflict of heart we bare cannot be articulated. Be thankful you're marked. It is a burden you have been unjustly been assigned by men who are persecuting you, it means you are doing something right. They do not know they are persecuting you. I just woke up last September and I wonder the same about myself, I've never been baptized but I was wrongly disfellowshipped in 1986 and lost my family for two years until it came out that if you weren't baptized you could not be disfellowshipped, I went through alot of pain for those two years that could have taken me out but I'm blessed to have an individual relationship with our Heavenly Father Jehovah God and I'm grateful for His love towards us, His precious children. Last time I went to a jw meeting I asked an elder how his son was and he said “ oh my god he’s disfellowshipped “. Basically saying how dare you ask me that question , Then I asked another witness have you heard how so and so is , and they said. “. Oh that person is an apostate “. Then I asked but that person was disfellowshipped way back in 1995 , This brother made one mistake in his life and I said I’ve made 100 s of mistakes. So I said will my fellow brother be disfellowshipped forever ? What happens in the new world ? And this brother may be your next door neighbour. Will he be disfellowshipped forever ? Jesus said he who is without sin cast the first stone

Marking is below Reprove...No restrictions, only for warning others to be cautious about association with anyone acting like the examples given in the marking talk, no names given. The talk is given because one has been talked to but is not adjusting conduct (or not baptized)...basically unrepentant but not a judicial matter. Reproving is from judicial but means the individual was considered repentant not requiring disfellowshipping. I had a different background than you, but ended by a similar means. But I am now 58 and was df'd for smoking back in 1981. All my memories with the WT organization are bad. But I am very happy with my life as I have found science and reason and therefore have no need for a SkyDaddy or a Cult Organization anymore. I have a wonderful family and a happy life now, but will most likely hate the WT until I die. But I have found new empathy for humankind. Thus I am a humanist/atheist now and feel I am a much better person, not bogged down with doctrine and bigotry. But I hope you find a new way to move forward and not become self-hating. If you want to stay in religion, I have no dislike for religious people, as long as religion is kept out of my public school and government. Hopefully you have support and not have to go through everything bad that I did. But christianity was actually a sect of judaism until centuries later. In all of them Jesus only preached about One Hope, and that is the hope of entering into the kingdom of the heavens. He never talked about two separate hopes or destinations. Jesus set the example.

It doesn’t make sense that he was only talking to the anointed the whole time, when he said to be born again of Holy Spirit, or when he told to “keep doing this in remembrance of me” to partake of the bread and wine.

We are not gaining life only if we find the one true needle in the haystack of religious knowledge as if we are on a game show searching for the answers to the universe! All religions point to the other faith and condemn and speak us virsus them and judge. A loving God wouldn't put us to death for not having all the right answers or completing the puzzle in time or die. That sport was a Roman practice and was never Godly. You are a loving person who doesn't see shunning as loving and it isn't! RELIGION IS THE PROBLEM NOT YOU. I still choose to believe in God and jesus too. Regardless of those who choose not to. Do you recall the incident in Genesis with Adam and Eve and the lie which was told by Satan about Jehovah?Jehovah's name suffered great damage. This obviously called for immediate lock off, excommunication, disfellowshipping, shunning, with not a word being spoken to this individual forever or years to come. Jehovah's Witnesses will readily agree to celebrate this point and highlight that Jehovah is poised to take action against Satan referring to Genesis. They will also beat their chest about the actions taken against individuals in the congregation who also sin against Jehovah in accordance with Paul's direction 1 Corinthian 5. However, does a look back at biblical history agree with their position? Can they say in what year Satan was disfellowshipped?Was it immediately?Did Jehovah stop talking to Satan at that very moment or shortly thereafter?Did He also instruct all angels and other heavenly hosts to shun Satan or anyone else who joined him effectively immediately?Was there a penalty for anyone who violated Jehovah's instructions? The answers to the above questions are very important in settling the question of the biblical legitimacy of disfellowshipping. We all know that Jehovah does not make rules for heavenly creatures or for humans that He himself will not abide by. Jehovah's witnesses do not speak to anyone who is disfellowshipped. They are shunned immediately after the announcement in the kingdom hall.However, we will notice in Job's day some 3000 years after the Garden of Eden incident Satan was still attending important meetings of "the sons of God" See JOB 1 from verse 6 . He was being asked questions about his whereabouts by Jehovah in the meeting.Why was he able to still take his place at that meeting? Why was he still able to be in attendance after so many years have passed? To be in such a meeting could he be disfellowshipped\banned?Why was he allowed to speak in front of others in attendance in response to the questions put to him by Jehovah? Isn't this against the rules corresponding to Elder's manual that a disfellowsipped person is not allowed to speak or participate in the meeting?What really was going on here?Why was he not blocked as a disfellowshipped person in a private meeting and shown the exit? While on earth (4000 plus years after Adam and Eve incident) Jesus in 33 CE was visited by Satan unannounced. See Matthew :4 from verse 1.Surely by that time (4000 plus years)the Devil had to be banned or disfellowshipped = don't you think? No.The Devil took Jesus on a tour. There was no indication that Jesus resisted and was kicking and screaming. He had a conversation with Jesus and made him an offer.Modern day Jehovah's witnesses Elder's manual rules will tag this meeting as (1) apostasy (2) associating with a disfellowshipped apostate(3) discussing scripture with an apostate. How can one escape asking. What was going on here?Did Jehovah sanction this?Is Jehovah scared of adverse contact made with his loyal beings?Does Jehovah believe in non intervention and freedom of choice? Many were looking on with interest at this crucial meeting. Angels came to Jesus side when Satan left off tempting him.The angels knew that Jesus was free to leave Jehovah like others did.The JW organization does the opposite to Jehovah.They blackmail those who want to leave with the loss of their family if they dare.How different it is with Jehovah! Jesus further encountered those who left Jehovah and joined Satan. See Matt:8 from verse 28 They were named demons in the scriptures.The demons were living in 2 possessed men's bodies at a cemetery. When they saw Jesus they had a conversation with him about the scripture fulfillment of their time of judgement. He told them to leave the men's bodies. Before doing so they put a proposal to Jesus. He consented with the request to enter the bodies of some swine/pigs nearby.At no time did Jesus refuse to speak to them or shun them. What happened next was not Jesus fault. Jehovah's witnesses must of necessity be asked to explain the above. Why is Jehovah failing to the take necessary steps as the GB of JWS who take drastic measures which God is not agreeable to. They use these against GOD'S flock citing the scriptures? How can Jehovah and Jesus be so ignorant in flouting god given "rules" in opposition to what is presented in the Elder' s manual ? Why was Jesus not put to sit on Jehovah's "left" hand and the Governing body put on God's right hand because apparently Jesus engaged in apostate indiscretions which should have displease Jehovah? The examples of the Father and the Son' above invalidate the disfellowshipping teachings of Jehovah's witnesses today. The bible tells us to imitate the Father and the Son. Doing this will make the Elders manual a book of fabrication and lies which cannot stand up to scrutiny in the light of the above past history shown.

The sad thing about JWs is the practise of not questioning what is taught. Until the GB finds something is wrong with its own previous message of so called "truth" which is quickly turned into (new light) absolutely nobody dare pick up on or point out their foolishness. I just stumbled on this older video; which gave me some insight into the events surrounding your removal from the JW org. I am sooooo.oo sorry to see you slandered and beaten by the so-called "shepherds of the congregation"! I actually started to follow your channel in 2023; as it is now 6/2024! I like the Ezekiel 34th chapter as well. It describes today's JW elders to a tee. That's the problem with the modern day organization of JW's. They think they are beyond reproach, incapable of developing internal sects and making mistakes in the treatment of one another! They think that they are perfect; their governing body is perfect and inspired by God, (despite their hypocritical claims), and are immune from apostate infiltration; because it's "Jehovah's organization"!! Yet THEY FORGET THAT WITH THE 1500 YEARS OR SO OF THE NATION OF ISRAEL AND JUDAH; THAT THERE WERE CONSTANT DEFECTION AND TRANSGRESSING AGAINST JAH'S LAWS, BY THE KINGS AND PRIESTS AND PROPHETS!! IT WAS MOSTLY THE LEADERSHIP OF THE NATION UNDER THE MOSAIC LAW AND CLAIMING TO WORSHIP THE GOD JEHOVAH, THAT WAS TO BLAME FOR ABUSING THE CONGREGATION AND MISLEADING THEM INTO IMMORAL CONDUCT AND IDOLATRY! And in the 1st century congregation there were frequent disputes among elders and congregation members; there were men like Diotraphes who endorsed a shunning policy and disfellowshipping action; there were divisions and tolerance for unGodly conduct that Jesus himself reproved the elders for in the first 6 chapters of Revelation! There were infiltrations of sectarian ideas that the apostles constantly wrote about in their letters! So the history of "God's organization" as they try to call it; is filled with internal sins, mistakes, and outright "real apostasy"; which the scriptures define as breaking away from the teachings of the Christ and his father Jehovah! It's not THEIR FAULT that men like these creep into the congregations! It happens! And it is happening in hundreds of JW congregations around the world as we watch the hundreds of ex-JW videos here on YT! Good people are being beaten and misled by elders who obey men as their ruler, rather than God! I too was removed by some quack elders who made up their own definition of sin, and expelled me for NO SCRIPTURAL REASON! Elders have attached too much loyalty to THE ORGANIZATION, and not enough loyalty to JESUS CHRIST, THE APPOINTED HEAD OF THE CONGREGATION! Jehovah's Witness -as member of that organisation if believes what they say about Jesus and all of system they faith - couldn't be Christian. Let me explain why I think that: Someone who is Christian means he/she is a folower of Jesus. Jeh witneses believes Jesus is not God, but just a man. So, if you are a folower of a man, you are an idolater by judging by your faith, simple as that. True Christian believes in triune God, in Jesus as God, accepting Him as Lord and Savior. My Savior and my Lord is not a man, he is the eternal triune God, full of mercy what he shows on the Cross, and righteous judge who will judge the fallen world. So, today is the day of Salvation. What are you waiting for? Repent and believe in Him, accept Jesus as your savior by faith.

When I left 25 years ago I flew under the radar for about 10 years.. then I decided to start attending a nondenominational church ( big no no) & the shunning hammer came down fast & hard! I called an elder and told them that I had NOT left God, but left a false organization & I better not hear that there is EVER an announcement about me!! I refused to go to a judicial, and told them it was none of their business what I did. I was polite, yet very very STERN & I meant business. Years have went by now, and I could care less what they call me, in fact, I would have no problem going up on stage and making my own announcement.. lol I drew my own line in the sand and told them not to cross it & I would be talking to whoever I wanted to in public!! I know who I am and what I am and don’t need their approval! Long gone are the days when we left in shame. I love my life and feel nothing but pity for them.

JW's have been taught 1st Corinthians is only addressed to the 144,000(or the annointed) but notice in 1st Corinthians 1 who Paul is directing this letter to 1st Corinthians 1:2 to the congregation of God that is in Corinth, to you who have been sanctified in union with Christ Jesus, called to be holy ones, together with all those everywhere who are calling on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ..(we know the holy ones are the annoited but he also added in, "together with all those everywhere who are calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ" so this is for everybody who calls on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, this is who this letter is addressed to skip to 1st Corinthians 6:10 thieves, greedy people, drunkards, revilers, and extortioners WILL NOT INHERIT GOD’S KINGDOM(all servants of Jehovah will inherit God's Kingdom, that's our goal to get into that Kingdom) skip ahead to 1st Corinthians 15:44 It is sown a physical body; it is raised up a spiritual body. During one of the drama movies in the assembly(Summer of 2020 Friday session) she pointed out to her student(Jade, Like Jaded) that there is no hunger, death, or pain in heaven...but we know Jesus actually hungered, felt pain and could be killed on Earth and he was perfect flesh and blood, so in order for the people on the Earth to be able to not hunger or die we would have to obtain spiritual bodies because only in heaven do they not hunger die or feel pain... Jesus was are roadmap, he was born, he was baptized, he died, but then he came back as spiritual creature and made himself known or let himself be seen to those he wanted... because also remember Jesus says in the resurrection we are as Angels (Angels are spiritual creatures) Matthew 22 In reply Jesus said to them: “You are mistaken, because you know neither the Scriptures nor the power of God; 30 for in the resurrection neither do men marry nor are women given in marriage, but they are as angels in heaven Regarding the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by God, who said: 32 ‘I am the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob’? He is the God, not of the dead, but of the living( You know Jesus can't lie and faithful servants of Jehovah and followers of Jesus Christ are supposed to be resurrected if we die, just as Jesus came back as the Angels are(in the spiritual form) after he was put to death, all baptized Christians will come back as the Angels are and if they are not baptized they'll be resurrected during the 1000 years so they can be baptized so they can then get that spiritual body to be as the angels... because the Bible also says in Revelation that not everybody's gets resurrected during a thousand years, there are some that come to life after the thousand years where ended Revelation 20 And they came to life and ruled as kings with the Christ for 1,000 years. 5 (THE REST OF THE DEAD DID NOT COME TO LIFE UNTIL THE 1,000 YEARS WERE ENDED.)
