Thank God for Dangote. If not for his exploits and the challenge he threw at the National Petroleum Corporation, we would not have witnessed these refineries coming onstream and being revived so quickly. When are Nigerians going to reap the benefits of these many refineries being in operation in terms of cheap pricing and affordability? We cannot celebrate a development that does not add meaningful value to the life of the citizens. We must take this news with cautious expectations.

You think you can fix a refinery overnight ? Work started under buhari . This is APC delivering 2 refineries.
@muhibikelani12112 күн бұрын
The Tinubu administration should be given full credit for bringing back to life the refinery which has not been functional for over 20 yrs and every regime from Obasanjo, Jonathan, Buhari and Tinubu have spent so much money on it. Every government promised to get it to work and only Tinubu government has been able to achieve this he should be given the full credit while we await other promises by his government.

I read through the comments here today regarding the analysis from the broadcasters and wondered why some are berating them. I did not hear a single utterance that was out of place and especially when the reality is that a lot has gone on outside of what most of us know about these refineries, be it via corruption or otherwise so being sceptical is actually a sensible way to look at things because at the end of the day everyone should strive for transparency from the elected... they are primarily there to serve you and not themselves even more so now with the Tax reforms. People should sometimes take a step back and look from the outside as opposed to with their rose coloured glasses irrespective of their affiliations. Until people regard themselves as Nigerians(citizens) first before anything else there will be no tangible and sustainable progress in the country.
