It’s been an attack on the man to break up the traditional home/family. I am praying for the men of God to rise up in the home and body of Christ. I think with the women's movement, starting with women entering the work force during WWII and continuing with burn your bra during my youth, women were empowered and men have been under fire. But there were reasons too. Society was already pretty bad, my grandparents often used the phrase "this is devil's world" that was in the '40's. No question this is a horrific world but it isn't due simply to evil women. Unfortunately the phrase " the hand that rocks the cradle rules the world!" Is true. When that hand is evil the world becomes evil. My question: what happens when that hand is missing entirely, like now? Children today are being raised by t.v. video games, corrupt educational systems etc. Keep looking up, jesus has to be coming soon!

Jonathan says that behind the gods were the 'shediym'. These are mentioned in Psalm 106:36-38: '‭And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.‭ Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils.‭ ‭And shed innocent blood, ‭even‭ the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.'‭ We can notice that these 'shediym' or 'devils' are synonymous with the idols. These idols or devils were manmade images of the gods which they thought existed, but in reality didn't. There are many references in the Bible where God is showing the idols to be nothing and of no power, for example Deut 4:28: '‭...ye shall serve gods, the work of men’s hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell.‭' Certain idols were known for certain evils only because men had attached those evil things to the particular god. So, if a ruler decided to tell his people that their favourite idol desired human sacrifice then that's the thing which got attached to that god. People then came to believe that the idol was not only real but also able to decide what he wanted from people. The reality is that men decide to introduce certain evils into the world. 1 Kings 12:26-28 gives an example of this.

This man is in fact a man of God our LORD Jesus the Christ, and Mythical does not mean magical, but I understand why you said this. The best example I know of that relates to mythical in the word, is the mighty Leviathan or the Behemoth which are considered to be mythical beasts made by the LORD in the beginning, just read the book of Job. Also any of the mighty wonders the LORD gave us for example of his mercy/glory.

I agree you only need the Bible, but Johnathan Cahn does know the Bible inside and out, and he does talk about Jesus in his preaching messages. You can’t get what he is about hearing 1 short video clip. In his books, he makes parallels with what happened in ancient Israel and what is happening today. He goes into great detail with the scriptures, Jewish customs, and the dates - the timing of events that have happened in recent years, in his other books. But I agree that people should study the Bible for themselves.
