Tom Metzker (California democratic candidate..) made already then a good point about military industry - taking taxpayers money to "explore" the super rich moguls interests around the globe... We see the results today!

Because it's just so good. Plus I was only 22 when he was on. I used to watch him occasionally back then (I attended his traveling show and Mort actually propositioned me) I tend to idealize those yrs. His show reminds things weren't as great as I always think they were back then. Although a hell of a lot better than the way things are today. I'd love to go back to the 80s / 90s.

Tom Metzker is right though about the military industrial complex.

A whole lot of people have been right for decades about this and managed to not be racist skumbags in the process. You let a room full of old white money and saudi princes keep their control by engaging in the kind of rhetoric that divides the country, courtesy of the Dems and foreign influence in China and Qatar. Metzker is a useful tool, as are all the "Aryan" actors throughout the years.

Oh, my God. John Metzger and Roy Innis were also on Geraldo when they got into an on-air brawl which left Geraldo Rivera with a busted nose.

👃 From the "Not That It Matters" file... I once took a leak in a movie theater bathroom. Standing at the urinal to my left was Geraldo Rivera. It was two days after he was hit in the face with the chair. His nose was all bandaged up and he had the blacked out Raccoon Eyes. He really did get injured in that melee. We spoke casually, as men do, in a public restroom. He seemed like an OK guy to me. ✌️
