If he was sentenced to death which was commuted to Life he should absolutely never have been granted parole…

lol. I was a reporter in North Jersey during the Trantino parole hearings. I knew Joe Delaney well. I found out later Delaney was NEVER on the scene that night in August 1963. He was one of the best story tellers ever.

Trantino was eventually paroled o February 11, 2002 - his sixty second birthday. He is still (August 5, 2024) alive and well and living in Camden, New Jersey.

Morton died nearly a year prior in early 2001. I’m glad Trantino wasn’t released while Morton was still alive. If it was up to me, that monster would still be behind bars to this day.

Insane he was paroled. No justice for the families affected

@@gregkatz5411 I agree. I'm old enough that I remember when those killings took place. They were brutal and senseless. Trantino and Falco could have easily subdued both cops and escaped without killing them. Falco was slain by the NYPD a couple of days later while "resisting arrest" in a hotel room. Trantino turned himself in shortly thereafter, was tried and convicted and condemned to death, but when capital punishment was abolished in 1972, his sentence was commuted to life imprisonment.

There is too much also so it's very Watered down and harder to find the good stuff. But I hear ya, it seems we don't have these great talk shows like back then, and also it seems there are no good sitcoms anymore either.

Unfortunately yes. Trantino is still alive to this day. Has been free for over 2 decades now. If it was up to me that monster would still be behind bars. The only good thing about it was the fact Morton died the year before & didn’t have to witness that.
