Brillant and as I said it seems an enlargement of the Embrace knot. Up to 3:15 in the Embrace Video and 2:59 they look identical. You would do great in turkshead tying!

Knot looks relatively simple. Looks Great. Haven't tried tying yet. Language story... I was a senoir in high school. First day of class. 3rd year of Spanish class. Teacher told me and my two friends that we were not allowed in her class. She kicked us out. Funny right.

I need a solid coloured shiny tie for this. My pink one doesn't come out very good - it is cotton/silk and I guess the fabric tightens differently and too much. Couldn't make it look really balanced.

+Mabel Marble It may be the pattern of the tie more than anything, it could be too much of a contrast with the pattern of the knot. A solid should show it much better for you.

Linwood, what material is the tie in the video made of? I've got a polyester tie that I don't know will be good for a Mosaic knot. What kind of material tie should be used in tying a Mosaic knot?

+mark10788 It's 100% polyester. You should be able to do it on just about any tie. For me the hardest ties to tie this on are the flimsy ones, I prefer the thicker ties. I wouldn't recommend it on a knit tie either. Thanks for watching!!

Oh like knit ties! Of course a standard Windsor looks great on those, but depending on the fabric it's made of, you should be able to do nearly any knot on it.

Try out the hashtag knot, the squared off shape of it will match the shape of your tie.

Tried it as my first knot and loved it. Looks like a cluster of grapes like the grapes of Eschol, so maybe you could call it the Promised Land Knot or the Eschol knot since you are a Christian and that way it is Biblical! 😜

I practice alot with different knots and watch a ridiculous amount of tutorial videos... and I have attempted a variety of challenging knots and I do feel with most of your videos this could simply be down to how condident and experienced you are with the knots but I find myself constantly rewinding the video to try capture what you have done sometimes as you don't always explain every step you are taking to ensure that "newbies" are able to follow your exact steps. +Mabel Marble You are quite right! The 2 knots are definitely cousins! As are many of my knots really! Many knots have helped inspire others, like the four rings knot and the Serpentine knot. I just may have to try out a turks head knot and see how well it fares for me!
